I..I don't think I've ever seen that casino scene. How do you get it? Or did I just get amnesia? You haven't seen it. That's the mod being worked on. It's pretty ridiculous that a Kaidan romanced by BroShep can't go with him arm-in-arm down the red carpet. Am I going crazy? Was this mission required? I seriously don't remember anything about this. |

Before you fight the clone, you have to go to the casino with Brooks to try to reach the owner, who sold that M-11 Suppressor to your mysterious enemy. Brooks crawls through some vents or something while you and your date (can be any squadmate) cause various distractions. The entrance to the casino has you walking down the red carpet with people snapping pictures of you. This is absolutely unavoidable in the Citadel DLC. |

I have most of everything installed for Mass effect 3 that I need. I am just waiting for the new mod to drop so I get kaidan and Shepard arm in arm during the citadel mission! I'm so excited for this mod!

I feel absolutely spoiled in comparison. This is sort of why whenever someone brings up making an ME movie or TV series, I get pissed. More crap like "makes sense" romances and complete removal of same sex romances. (Well, maybe Liara if FemShep were the star - but most likely it'd be BroShep.) It will have the side effect of canonizing the games, regardless of intent. I can already imagine the arguments like "But you're wrong because in the movie...". I get a little aggressive about it because they're so ill-informed about things that don't directly impact them and don't know what it's like to never have a gay lead character be a masculine, bad ass soldier. |

GLAD. I don't have to put up with the Genesis comics. Guh. Those things... Every other ME1 companion gets a single comic panel of an introduction, while Liara gets a full page spread of three panels, and is explicitly referred to as 'beautiful,' plus the description of the meld (which I have COUNTLESS issues with) 'not unpleasant' in this 'I'm underscoring how turned on I am about it' way, and when choosing between the ME1 LIs, Liara's in the foreground, looking demure, while Ashley/Kaidan are shadowed in the background... Like, that's all but waving a neon sign "Liara's Shepard's canonical romance' on BioWare's part, despite the whole thing about how they really want us to believe there is no "proper" canon. I love the Mass Effect universe, and think a movie would be a great addition to the tapestry - provided it's NOT about Shepard in any way. Leave Shepard (and Ryder) to the games, tell other stories in this universe. It's not like it's hurting for potential storylines. |

I actually like how, with the same sex romance mod installed, Genesis "breaks" when you get to the part about who you romanced. Genesis wants to mention Kaidan, but can't, so ends and goes into the game. |

Hmmm...speaking of the comic, I have that now with Mass Effect 3-since I got the dlc combo pack. I've never used that since I had no reason to buy it for ps3. It seems even less complete for 2 than it was for one. But maybe that's just my view of things. (I haven't tried it yet mind you, but I did watch it on youtube once upon a time)

Will this mod support Thane m/m romance in ME3 if you romanced him in ME2 with this mod installed? I hope it will, I will of course install it for ME3 too when it will be available, to have whole experience with all those s/s romances that BW/EA took from me..  |

The ME3 mod is still taking a while (there are a few things I need to figure out before I can release it), but I have some updates I'd like to share. I went back and edited Kaidan's hospital conversation some more, and I managed to get the Kaidan/Thane jealousy dialogue to work for MaleShep. The dialogue is a little different than it is for FemShep, it happens near the end of the conversation when Shepard asks if they cleared the air (and only if you chose the Paragon option at the start), but I really like it and I think it works well. I also edited Steve's lock-in dialogue at Purgatory for MaleSheps who romanced Kaidan and/or Thane in ME1/ME2, since the vanilla dialogue kinda implied that Shepard had never been with another man before. I'm also thinking about including an optional file for MaleShep/James flirting, since there's actually a little bit of unused audio for it. Will this mod support Thane m/m romance in ME3 if you romanced him in ME2 with this mod installed? I hope it will, I will of course install it for ME3 too when it will be available, to have whole experience with all those s/s romances that BW/EA took from me.. Yes, the m/m Thane romance from the ME2 mod should import properly into ME3, and once it's released, the ME3 mod will fix some bugs and issues with it.  |
