I have watched the Carmilla film and it is soooooo good you guys! Just like the webseries it is waaaay better than it has any right to be. Not only is it good for a Vampire film it is actually a good film, which is pretty rare with Vampire films cos most of them are trash. (enjoyable trash, but still trash) And I've so many emotions right now

movies i watched this week: litle hours: it was weird and funny, though i kinda wondered where did they all decided to go at the end? considering they are all wanted lol anyway its silly to look for logic in that kind of film spider-man: homecoming: i enjoyed it far more than i expected, zendaya and tom did a good job too, action scenes were well done too in my opinion. completely skipped the romance part, thankfully there wasnt much of it what happened to monday ( phantomrachie thnx for the rec btw) : enjoyed it too, had a hard time keeping my ass on the seat lol, even if the plot is kinda eye-rolling. balde runner 2049: yea yea i still went for it, it was pretty but too long again and i got tired of watching mc get beaten up "sigh" and one more thing: what happened to the dog?! okja: freaking hell that was rough, another example of how ppl want to eat everything, urgh disgusting,im not vegan, but i try to be, at least just for my own health the movie is really beautiful, and theres a tiny bit of gay couple in the background. I so want to see Okja, but I need to be so prepared for it, I saw Earthlings which it's pretty much real life Okja and that was what opened my eyes yeears ago, so I dont want to die drowned in my own tears, again, even knowing it's fiction it's kinda related to what I see every day on social media. And I should totally see the movie because it's very related to what I'm doing for my college project

Just back from seeing The Justice League movie, welp, it's not worse than Batman v Superman but, no where near as good as Wonder Woman. It was just, okay... I guess. Alot of corny groan worthy dialogue in this movie. The Flash especially was cringy, really forcing that comic relief. Enjoyed the Amazons when they were on screen, thought what little of what we saw of em was great, enjoyed old man Batman again, really like Affleck in this role, also thought Jason Momoa did a good job as Aquaman. Superman is as boring as ever, nothing new there, Cyborg was, well, around, hacking stuff. I guess you could say he was, outta his league next to the other more iconic DC heroes. Main villain was, meh, just another macguffin plot. Honestly, unless you're into DC it's not worth the ticket price. But heh, that's just like, my opinion, man.

Marvel can make it work, DC keeps fuckin' it up tho. Pity for me as, I'm more familiar with the DC universe than Marvel, lol.

Quentin Tarantino is developing a Star Trek movieI can't think of a director who is less suited for Star Trek than this man. Then again, I suppose I shouldn't care since I have no interest in the rebooted Trek from the recent films. Even the lure of seeing naked Benedict Cumberbatch wasn't enough. [edit] Hm... now I'm not sure if it would be in the rebooted franchise after reading some of the comments on that article. I just assumed, as there is no other ongoing Trek property, other than Discovery. He could make something entirely new, with new people, in the Prime timeline. I might actually watch that...

Eh I'll give it a chance. If its hyper violent even better. I have no allegiance to whatever "pure" star trek is.

For anyone that cares about this... Fantastic Beasts sequel won’t address Dumbledore’s sexualityI've moved on from Harry Potter, so I haven't seen the first one and likely won't be seeing this one. That said, isn't Grindelwald not the greatest person around? I would feel weird rooting for them to be together, knowing that poor Dumbledore is looking at the man through love-stuck glasses. (The fact that Grindelwald is played by Johnny Depp doesn't help matters, though I like Jude Law as Dumbledore.) That in-universe reason aside, it is a shame it's not going to be touched on in this film, but they're not ruling out the possibility of having it in future installments. To be honest, given the meta, it's almost starting to seem like queer-baiting at this point, since JKR's statements haven't been backed up by any action regarding LGBTQ characters and relationships.
