Ahh okay thanks for sharing the info. I think this list might indeed be legit then, now that Im reading some of the posts. For how many companions are going to be available (over 10 I think they said?) the list seems a bit short in general and lacking in options for people who aren't straight... Ah okay so reading further, Octavia and Regongar are kinda together and you can break them up somehow if you want. Interesting...lol Not sure how I feel about that.I wouldn't have a problem with it, if it wasn't our only option. But homosexual men and women are forced to break them up or join them to get a relationship. And that just feels wrong. :/ I mean, we get 10 companions and only one is for gay guys/lesbians? That's pretty weak. They could have given us another one or make the 4 available characters bisexual. That's really disappointing. Yeah exactly. Can't say I'm not surprised though given the dev team composition.  |

Regongar sounds pretty intense form his description. I hope the "breakup" business is not too dramatic-as it's bad enough that there's only one m/m and f/f option in the game. Looks like this game will be pretty good-if there's a huge sale at some point in the future.  |

I just wanted to ask if it is already clear who the romances are? Because one person on owlcatgames said: "Here is the full list of Romanceable companions as confirmed multiple times by the Devs:

Octavia and Regongar at the same time (Bisexual)." I'd be very disappointed if that's true. Does anyone know? Havent really been searching for info on romances yet, but maybe? Was this on the official forums? If that person says its confirmed by the devs maybe theres an official dev post somewhere about it. I wonder what "at the same time" means for Octavia and Regongar? ok first this is disgusting (this is a lesbian user pissed because there's no lesbian option) I learned from you guys last year what gold star gay/lesbian was, I'm not aware of a spanish term for this so I had no clue what this was, it disgusted me and reading this... user ... I mean straight homophobes are one thing, been there, done that... but when I encounter people like this within the community is so disgusting. I'm about to create an account to call her out tbh. Second  Ok. OKEY. It seems Regongar is chaotic evil... I'm having Dorn dejavus right now. The only m/m option is an evil depraved bisexual TM gud work devs  It seems his best friend is Octavia (she's good) and he had a cruel past SO I'm gonna be wary about this news, because: 1- He's the hotter male character (shallowness at their finest lol) 2- I like redemption arcs and I like tragic characters. 3- I hope you can roleplay a good character and romancing without butchering your character's morals (Dorn is impossible to romance as good guy because you have to kill innocent people in BG2 EE for his personal quest) So for now I'm gonna take my tea, relax and think about Tekehu. edit. To sum it up: I'm happy he's an option but I'm not happy they went all DAO for romance options. I'm scared this is Dorn all over again but he's not a Blackguard/Anti-Paladin and his best friend/past lover is a good aligned character so there's hope |

I can kind of play evil in some games... but in games like this I tend to go all out benevolent pacifist and try to make everyone happy. But Regongar! I'll wait until some reviews are out, but he's the only one who interests me, and I dunno if I could do be evil. |

I'm not surprised Tristan is straight. Disappointed, but not surprised. I would've liked a romance with a guy like that, and he's totally cute. Only one option though? I thought the world this was based on was very LGBT inclusive? He's not my type. I'll still play this game eventually, but I'm not as eager to get to it as before. (I like the bearded blond one more though but I'm not picky for humans tbh ). ....Of course the handsome blond that I'm totally attracted to is straight...why is that always the case? I have no luck with these things, it seems. ...Should I even have any hope Greedfall or DA4 will have a handsome blond gay option?
....On the bright side Ketill is cute.  "I like the bearded blond one more though" SAME TBH, but Ketil is cute and I love his romance and the best friends to lovers trope I died inside. Oh that sounds interesting. I've had this game on list for a while now but I've been putting it off for other things. I think I'll prioritize it now. I hope I can enjoy the romance!  |

Really tempted to get the game because it's only 7.81€ on g2a even though I cant play it and I have several games to play before lol But I think my character would be going full anti-viking type, being an atheist ( what a suzprize nick lolz  someday I should roll a believer lol) and being a full support character, with points going to leadership without being a warrior, I wonder if I could pull that off in the game, it would be interesting like Daenerys but without dragons lol edit. Heyy the official twitter has responded to that tweet. Pretty much confirmed already! I'm still scared I'm not going to be able to swing his alignment to the good side of the force though. (still have sharkboi and handsome skeleton to keep me busy with isometric RPGs so no hurries  ) I hope they are not the only lgbtq ones but it seems they are the most plot-relevant, so Owlcat Games has my kudos for that. |
