I don't know if bioware is aware of how much we don't trust them right now? I'm sorry, but it is just not possible for me to believe that what we saw is what we'll see when we have it. It's not just BioWare, they never look that good in the end. Oh I agree. If I get this game it will be after launch so I can confirm how it looks.

On most gaming sites that have articles about it the comments are pretty positive. With this game I think BioWare is turning away from its core fans and attempting to attract a new group of fans, i.e. MP and shooter fans, people who like Halo, Destiny, Overwatch, etc. Those kinds of fans are looking for beautiful graphics and a great MP experience. I have a feeling Anthem will deliver.
Blech. Hopefully it will be the new cash cow for BioWare and they can focus some of the cash on making Dragon Age and *crosses fingers* Mass Effect even better. Maybe get that open world nonsense out of their system.

Maybe get that open world nonsense out of their system. Based on their original idea of having multiple games in development in 3 year cycles so they could release games more regularly, this seems like the goal of Anthem. Give EA their online shooter that stands out from the rest because of some Bioware storytelling (the major criticism of Destiny & Overwatch are their lack of story in game) and continue to make DA & ME for their core fans. However with ME:A not being the hit they wanted, I think Bioware need to confirm DA4 as soon as they can. It'll reassure their core fanbase that even though they are trying somthing new, they are still developing RPGs.

So Drew Karpyshyn confirmed on Twitter that he's been working on this game, so maybe there is hope that the game will have a good story after all? Also, a possible idea of how this can still be like the Bioware games of old: (Source)

Brings a whole new meaning to the old army marching song -- "this is my rifle, this is my gun / this one's for fightin', and this ones for fun..."

Attack on Titanfall: Fallout Destiny is very pretty, but it's really not grabbing me like a BioWare game usually does. Very early days, I know, but if it's solely/mostly focused on co-op and MP, then I won't be interested. Even ME3 MP never reeled me in. I hear Overwatch is fantastic, but I'm just too much of a solo gamer. Will have to see how it goes, I guess. FWIW I love Overwatch and have played hundreds of hours of it, as well as ME3MP and a semi-decent amount of MEAMP but I still am not grabbed by this game. I like Bioware's MP that's attached to their single player RPGs (I like DAI MP too!) but I wouldn't necessarily want to play an entire game of it without a strong Bioware story to also play.

Exactly, fadburger -- I like the MP segments, but I don't know if they're strong enough for full games -- especially when considering that MEA's MP has had bad connectivity lately.

Anything interesting? I'm at work and can't watch a video :/ I'm halfway through and he's really emphasizing that you can "play with your friends" and he even says that he believes this is something their fans have been wanting (no really, he says that). He then goes on to heap praise upon himself and his team by saying all their "colleagues at E3" were congratulating them and telling them what an amazing game it was. Seriously, it's like listening to a politician. "This is what the people want!" No it isn't. "Everyone loves me!" No they don't.

Anything interesting? I'm at work and can't watch a video :/ It takes place on an Alien planet, you're a Freelancer who's job is to serve and protect humanity. It's more science fantasy aka space magic, he used Star Wars and the Marvel Universe as comparison. It's an action RPG, and has co-op which can be played with friends throughout the whole experience, not sure what that means. It was pitched as an idea when wrapping up Mass Effect 3's produciton. He was also overwhelmed and emotional in regards to the positive reception from E3 and that the game was finally revealed, which was nice, Flynn sounds like he needed a win. There was some mention of how fans, and their own developers influence the games they make. He did talk a lot about co-op, just saying. Think that is the whole summary.
