All good points. Also fix the ending to 3 please, it felt pointless importing a save from 1 if that was all we got.

No trilogy remasters for me please, I mean for me ''MEHEM'' ending is canon, also same sex romances mod for ME1 and ME2 would be destroyed by BW/EA for sure once again, as we gays only had some in ME3 and not in ME1 or even ME2 I'm sure EA would put loot boxes for ME3 or for all of them Also the same depressing original ME3 ending once again? Nope.. BUT, if they would fix romances for ME1 and ME2 for gay/bi people (Kaidan should be bi from the start, also Tali, Thane, Jack), and improve/change the ME3 ending, integrate EVERY single DLC released for all three games, improve controls, graphics, sounds and all that sh*t then hell yaaaassss!!

So real talk if they had a remaster of the trilogy would anyone get it? I'd have to take a critical eye on it. I'll echo the other comments regarding restoring the cut content for Kaidan/MShep in ME1/ME2 at the very least.
Personally, I'd need it to be an improvement over the current experience available on PC. A slew of bugfixes, higher-quality textures, native controller support, restored content, all DLC included and integrated, etc., all included in a reasonably-priced package would almost certainly earn my money, even if only as a gift for a friend or family member. In the "nice to have, but not necessary" category would be things like UI and menu improvements (especially for ME1), improving ME3 multiplayer's store system, more difficulty options for ME3 to make Insanity more challenging, and using the Mass Effect Archives website to create Shepards that you can import into ME2 and ME3 like with the Dragon Age Keep.
I honestly don't think we'd see any more changes or improvements than those at the very maximum.

To be honest, I can never get excited about a potential trilogy remaster because I don't want to just end up being disappointed when LGBT+ players are left out again. The only way I'd really be interested is if they fully restore Kaidan, Tali, and Thane's romances (at least), since that would solve some of the biggest issues the series has with inclusion (no m/m romances before ME3 and no s/s squadmate romances in ME2).
That's honestly a dealbreaker for me, since a remaster would also mean all existing mods would be incompatible.

Yeah they'll never do right by us like that Nice ideas but no fucking thanks, I'm not willing to go through the same disappointment again with the same games again, like I'm in some kind of heteronormative purgatory

I asked this question because word on the street is Bioware might be mulling about it.

I kinda feel like doing another insanity run on ME2. Have a fully decked out shepard in 1 so gonna pump the difficulty up..maybe I'll just do an insanity trilogy run for the hell of it.
Guess its just hardcore for 1.

I'd caution against getting too hyped, though. Partly because I doubt EA plans on doing anything substantial with Mass Effect for a while, and partly because Jennifer Hale is associated with a ton of things that might cause her to have an excited reaction besides Mass Effect.
If she's referring to a Mass Effect remaster or rerelease, I wonder if EA/Bioware told her about it because they're planning on recording new dialogue and/or re-recording some of the old dialogue.

Ya know, I genuinely don't get all the calls/excitement for a remaster. Unless it greatly changes certain things about the games (i.e. certain storylines, and conversations, and the ending, and the lack of gay) it's just not something I'd ever be interested in. Pretty graphics just aren't enough to get me to pay for a game again. I guess I can understand it from a 'ME1 is horribly outdated and some machines might not be able to run it someday soon' sort of way though. I have old games I'd like to play but my PC acts like I've stuffed moldy bread into it when I try. Plus I'm just feeling pissy about the ME franchise in general after the way MEA was handled and then dropped.

Yeah, as much as I'd like to play the games on ps4-if there's no bi kaidan from the start it's a buy it used at less than 20 bucks situation for me. (or digitally at a very low rate whatever the case may be). If they think maintaining the artistic integrity of no options for gay men is more important than being decent-no thanks to giving them any money honestly.

If they think maintaining the artistic integrity of no options for gay men is more important than being decent-no thanks to giving them any money honestly. Ditto and same. Like, yeah, I get wanting the shinier graphics of current gen engines (though given the contortions the Frostbite engine apparently put Andromeda through...), but unless they're actually adding new content, and specifically allowing Kaidan to be bi across the series (to say nothing of allowing male Shepard to romance either/or Thane, Garrus, and Jacob as well), not to mention patching up the F/F romances as well so that there are options in ME2, or non-asari aside from Traynor... I'm all for an updated re-release of the trilogy. But it's not worth it if there's no new content - there's a reason that I haven't picked up, for example, Skyrim for the PS4. It runs just fine on my 360 as it is, I don't need to buy it AGAIN just to play it on a new system. (Granted, I did download the remaster for PC, but that was offered free if you already had the PC version in the first place, so...)

That's the main reason for me; ME1 in particular tends to be strangely finnicky on modern hardware. There's also the fact that buying all the DLC is still an annoying hassle that could easily be fixed by an "Ultimate Edition" release of sorts, and that a rerelease for modern consoles would let more people enjoy the trilogy.
There are lots of things I'd want them to fix before I purchase a rerelease, but even a fairly limited remaster would get me excited because of how much easier it'd be for new players to get into the trilogy with a single all-in-one package for modern hardware.
