I'm fine with Liara so long as she isn't trying to get between me and Kaidan.

I forgot how bad I am with the romances. :'D
Yesterday my Shepard told Liara that he really likes her and she asked him if he isn't with Ashley. He told her that this wasn't something serious but I really can't remember that I flirted with Ash once. Like we only spoke about her Family (and a Million times that she should stop being shitty to my Alien buddys)? If I would be together with everyone who spoke with me about my family... oh god.

Always choose red. Nothing else. I'm replaying the Trilogie and I get so many times lost. Am I the only one? It's not even a open World but somehow I still manage it. XD' Buuut yesterday I got Liara. ❤ Liara is life. Shadow Broker is still my favorite DLC.

Shadow Broker is still my favorite DLC. Word. If I plan to romance someone other than Sera in DAI, at least I know that I can play as a man. In an ME trilogy playthrough, it's so hard for me not to romance Liara, especially if I know I want to try to romance someone who is not Ash or Kaidan. She is just... There...

The ability to romance someone of my own gender while playing as my own gender is outstanding for me. That Kaidan is just amazing makes it all the more worthwhile. The days where I can be satisfied romancing a female as a male character or a male while playing as a female are dead for me.

The days where I can be satisfied romancing a female as a male character or a male while playing as a female are dead for me. Let me say that I think it was long overdue that gay men got a romance option in ME3. I'd go further and say that if they ever release the much-mooted remastered trilogy, i hope that they retrofit some gay options into the first two games, as well. I totally understand why, as a gay person forced to play as straight across countless other games, you'd jump at the chace to actually play as someone with your orientation. Stuff about me that I've said elsewhere which isn't entirely relevant to this thread in the spoiler tags: I'm a bit of a weirdo in that I'm a straight man who, due in no small part to playing the DA and ME series, has found that he marginally prefers to play as women in video games. I'm not sure quite why that is. I think in part I relish the change, as I don't really identify with the grizzled macho hero type that predominates many video games. It's just not the sort of man I am. I therefore enjoy the chance to have a different experience. That said, I still fancy women, so I tend to find myself favouring female romance options. It's not a "hur hur, dem lezbianz iz hawt" thing, but a natural consequence of me enjoying playing as a woman. This is what led me in to the Sera thread on the old BSN, and the friends I made there led me here.
I do still play as men sometimes, though, and I have a Dorianmancing Qunari DAI playthrough that i need to finish at some stage. I do relish the fact that a side effect of the inclusive nature of BioWare games is that, as well as giving gay and bi folk some much-needed representation, I get the chance to broaden my horizons and play outside of my "comfort zone".

The days where I can be satisfied romancing a female as a male character or a male while playing as a female are dead for me. Yeah, I think I hit that point just from the point I first played DAO, a few years after Jade Empire. After getting to play gay romances, the idea of ever playing as a female character has dropped to a low priority. Like the one female Warden I rolled, I honestly deleted her after unlocking Alistair's achievement on the Xbox, because I just didn't really click with her. I mean, the female Warden would even have been the easiest of the female PCs to work with on this, since she has no voiced dialogue aside from a handful of one-liners, but... It never felt right. Hell, I have a female Shepard waiting in limbo for the chance to romance Garrus, and I just don't particularly want to carry her forward. Granted, the fact that playing through ME2 is the hardest slog for me to begin with, so... But yeah, I haven't even rolled a female Inquisitor to do Cullen's romance, despite how much I want to romance him, because I can't take the disconnect.

I'm honestly terrified at the thought of modern EAware touching the OT in any way.

Ooookaokayokay... My Shepard Jerry broke up with Liara to be with Tali. Accidently hit the wrong button in Steves Convo in the Club and he said that my Shep was never with someone? DOES THIS MEAN I'M NOT THE TALI ROMANCE ANYMORE?! :C I mean Steve is really cute and I wanna hide him from all the bad but I feel bad to romance him because I don't want that he loses someone again. T___T Sooo I closed my game full of panic, lol. When I somehow not in the Tali-mance anymore I would rather romance Kaidan.

I'm totally over playing as a male protag. There have been a bunch of games that sounded really good until I realized I'd have to play as a guy, and then they went straight into the nope bin. I'm just not spending my limited gaming dollars on that anymore. It's why I'm so picky about my games now. The fact that many games that allow you to choose your pc gender also have some sort of romance is just icing. Now they need to take a serious look at quality and equality. I'd really like more f/f options like Sera, and fewer like Peebee...you know what I'm talking about.

My main criteria for getting a game is seeing if I won't get bored of it after a week. I think that's why I like the 10 hour campaign games like modern warfare. It's short and sweet and if I want to play a quick level I have options. Speaking of modern warfare super hyped modern warfare two is getting remastered.

This just happens to be one of mine right now. I used to really like Assassins Creed/Call of Duty (the first couple years they were releasing them). I haven't touched either in years. Tastes change. I'm just being picky.
