Oh lord the drama I could start with this. People are entitled to their opinions but to claim it is one of the best games of 2017 shows they didn't play anything else this year. I didn't play much this year but i know this is horseshit.

I... Actually DO think that Andromeda was my favorite new game of the year. Mostly because it was the only game of the year I felt like going out of my way to pick up. Nothing else really caught my attention or interest, especially given the glut of multiplayer games overwhelming most every other type of game out there.

I bought more old games in 2017 than new. I think MEA might have been the only new one for me. However, I only played it for two months before deleting it. Much happier with the MET. I would have liked the game much more if I'd had a solid romance with Gil and/or Reyes.

Andromeda was easily game of the year for me. No other games even have Jaal in them, what dumpster fires they were. (except Horizon Zero Dawn-it was lovely)

I am enjoying Mass Effect 3 again so much. The entire Tuchanka plot is still such an emotional experience...from forging an unbreakable bond with Wrex to the loss of Mordin. It's impossible to hold back the tears! I love Steve so much. He is such a sweet guy and a great character...it is always so tempting to go for his romance... I always wait until after the dinner date with Kaidan before meeting Steve at the bar to get that little mention about the Kaidan romance. The few mentions of Ashley here and there make me so sad. I really love her character in the first game. Hearing them talk about her really makes it feel like they've come a long way since the beginning. Someday I'll have to play a game of Mass Effect 3 where I have Ashley alive and do the Steve romance... I still really like Diana and feel sorry for her, don't think she deserves all the hate she gets. I finally got Kaidan back last night and started the romance. He makes me so happy. I think Kaidan will always be my favorite BioWare love interest...even if some perfect gay KISA comes along and catches my attention. There's just so much to love about him and his romance... I'm really looking forward to getting through the rest of the game and most of all...the Citadel DLC!

I finally finished the Mass Effect Trilogy again. I got so much more emotional than I expected and was in tears (again!) by the end. This trilogy, especially the third game, is an experience like no other. I get so emotionally invested each time and that first one was unforgettable. The third game most of all is very special to me, and I think it always will be. The Citadel was just so much fun to go through and I laughed so much. I just enjoy being able to hang out with all these characters that I love and throwing one big crazy party with everyone. It's easily my favorite thing about the trilogy. It was just so well executed and, again, makes me so emotional thinking back to everything these characters have been through together. As for the end...I always choose destroy but it breaks my heart every time that I have to sacrifice EDI. I love her so much. Also, Major Coats? I totally had a HUGE crush on the guy. He is gorgeous and that voice? Perfect combo! Haha, Kaidan is of course the perfect boyfriend and I couldn't be happier with the relationship through the trilogy. Anyway...it was wonderful playing through the trilogy again during this specific moment in my life. It's been a huge help and inspiration to me and, I think, even makes me a better person (or strive to be). It might just be a video game to some...but it's very special to me and close to my heart. I am looking forward to experiencing Andromeda again soon.

I just completed Noveria and while I know most people don't like it....it was one of the first emotional moments I encountered in the franchise. I felt so sorry for Matriarch Benezia and Liara. Bringing Liara along for this mission is a must, Benezia's last words to her always make me tear up. Someday, I'll make a femshep who will romance someone other than Liara, someday. It's my Everest.

I've made Sheps of both genders who romanced others, but the only ones who made it to the end of ME3 were Liaramancers... I nearly made it once with a male Shep who romanced Ash and dumped her for Jack, but stalled mid-way through ME3. Maybe someday I'll finish that playthrough...

I tried to make a femshep to romance Garrus but I can't make it through ME1 without romancing her. I tried to start a ME2 fresh game without importing a save to romance him, but even with the comic to set your main decisions, there are still smaller decisions that are missing so it was too weird an experience for me to continue.

I have a character based reasoning for occasionally going to control - with all the blood loss, Shepard just connects the blue light with Kaidan's blue armor and goes to it. I like to think it makes the resultant Shepard-AI personality be born from thoughts of love, and that'd act as a natural defense against turning against life in the galaxy.
But yeah, aside from that, I really can't justify anything other than destroy.

I'm replaying the Trilogie and I get so many times lost. Am I the only one? It's not even a open World but somehow I still manage it. XD'
Buuut yesterday I got Liara. ❤
