On the one hand, if EA were smart, they'd remember the success DAI had and keep their hands off the rudder. On the other hand, when have EA ever been smart? EA had to do nothing to make Andromeda a success and look what happened to it. No I have negative faith in them not to screw this up. I disagree, simply because it's likely that EA made - at minimum - the single worst decision concerning the game: The decision to assign a fledgling auxiliary multiplayer studio (who had only done one mediocre SP DLC) to Bioware's flagship franchise (that desperately needed to not screw up after the ME3 debacle), and have the actual ME team make the MP-driven Anthem. I think that contributed a significant amount to ME:A's Development Hell, so I'd put a matching amount of blame on them. Past that, we don't really know enough about who called which shots to make direct accusations.
