So...I've lagged like hell in working on the ME2 test mod for romancing Thane and possibly flirting with Jacob. To date, here's what's happened: Garrus, Jack and Grunt. About to go to Horizon. This was a Shepard I found on a website and downloaded and he apparently dated Liara in the past. No flirting has been possible with Jacob yet. Looking forward to my next lest of recruits and will jump right on recruiting Thane. Want to make this happen!

He was never, ever on my radar. I mean, I know it's speciest, but I prefer the humans. However, I'd love to see this mod functioning. Rondeeno seems to think it would import just fine into ME3.

I get that. I like him cause of his personality though, and the fact he's a green alien doesn't really change things for me either way. Though his eyes are pretty awesome. it'd probably freak me out in real life at first, but still a really awesome effect.

Went to Horizon with Jacob (second best ass next to Kaidan) and Garrus. Picked up a sweet particle rifle the Collectors left behind. Saved half the colony (which is in increase over the 0% saved from any other Collector attack). Met not-my-boyfriend(!) Kaidan Alenko. He didn't trust me but still told me to be careful. Sad. Got to say, it felt awfully strange getting a handshake from Kaidan. I'm so used to importing a romance with Kaidan from ME1 that it was bizarre. However, I couldn't stand the thought of cheating on Kaidan so wouldn't let a prior romance with him exist. Went to Ilium. Almost(!) kissed Liara. Went looking for Thane. While rescuing some workings locked in a closet, game inexplicably crashed. Not sure how far back that will set me.

So in Mass effect today, I flirted shamlessly with Jaal the third "friend flirt" and the first heart flirt both. It's odd that the first heart flirt is somewhat hidden. You have to ask him about his past relationship (that was just a kiss mind you, not so much of a relationship)-and then go back to that same "tree" and there the heart is.
I also made some side quest progress by getting the plant for suvi (movie side line) and made some headway on voeld. I also finished up what was left of the main quest before kadara. Going there after I finish my side quest madness.

Was not set back at all by the crash. Chucked some Eclipse merc out the window, fought my way up to Nassana Dantius and gleefully watched a drell assassin put an end to her. Then I recruited Thane Krios.
Took Thane and Miranda with me to find the asari justicar, Samara. Helped her with some intel on a "monster" she's tracking and came away with a powerful asari on my team.
Brought Jack along to help Miranda rescue her sister, Oriana, from being abducted by their evil father. Or something. It's complicated. (Jack's presence was basically worthless. Thought she might have some interesting commentary, as Miranda does on Jack's LM, but no.)

Booted up ME1 this morning, getting back to my renegade run. Committed genocide, still feel bad about it. In my defense, I really really wanted that renegade trophy tho. Sorry Rachni.

My current PT was a Shepard I downloaded from a site for people who don't have ME1 (I do, can't remember exactly why I downloaded this). This Shepard was a Renegade. So now I'm on Illium and there's no asari representative for the rachni, Gianna Parasini isn't present and Shiala also isn't present. This tells me: rachni queen was killed, Shiala was killed and Gianna wasn't helped.

Visited the Citadel. Talked to Councilor Anderson, which is fine because the rest of the Council wouldn't speak to me after sacrificing the original Council aboard the Destiny Ascension. Anderson reinstated my Spectre status. Bought a space hamster, some fish and model ships for my cabin. Also helped a quarian out against a bigoted volus and C-Sec officer.
Grunt said something was wrong so we went to Tuchanka to figure it out. Nothing more than a Rite of Passage was needed, which would also make Grunt a member of Clan Urdnot. Fortunately, the current clan leader Wreav held no grudge for me killing his brood mate, Wrex. Some whiny krogan was trying to stop the rite from happening. Headbutting him changed his mind. Took Jack along for the fight. (Which couldn't be completed because the second round stopped sending enemies and I couldn't press the button.)

I've mostly just done Jaal's loyalty quest today, and sadly as per usual the bomb disarming section still triggers a forever loading screen for me. Luckily after quitting out of the game and redoing that section, it loads to the next scene properly. It's an issue on ps4 that was introduced with patch 1.09 and was never fixed sadly.

No such problems for me on PC, I completed the game (even with mods) and I never had infinite loading screen or crashes, I was lucky I guess, but seems like PS4 version is the most bugged? Too bad they left the game in this state P.S. There is a unofficial patch now on Nexus mods which fixes multiple game issues like breaking game bugs, quest fixes etc, but it's only for PC.. Also I heard that someone is working on restoration mod/patch for Andromeda, which will restore some objects, dialogues and even quests! But it can take a while, it's not easy to work with this engine...

Today...
- Successfully completed Grunt's LM, no crashes. - Came back to Tuchanka with Mordin and Kasumi to take on Clan Weyrloc. They no longer exist, but I freed a krogan scout. Also found Mordin's protege, Maelon, who was not the captive Mordin had thought him to be. Instead, he was there to cure the genophage. I stopped Mordin from killing him, sending him on his way. We erased the data but kept a copy "just in case". Mordin wasn't exactly thrilled but managed to set it all aside afterward. Something about salarians processing emotions much quicker than other races. - TIM gave us a lead on a Collector ship disabled by the turians. I was suspicious, particularly after Horizon, but knew we needed whatever intel we could get. Brought Miranda and Zaeed along. Found lots of dead colonists, presumably subjects of experimentation. Also one dead Collector and data EDI found said that the Collector were actually Protheans, repurposed to serve the Reapers. Then I went to pick up a new weapon and...CRASH! Never experienced so many crashes. Thinking the Thane same sex romance mod could be behind it.

That's the only place in the game I have major issues now. Um, Elaaden used to have a lot of odd issues, but they seem to have been patched up thankfully.

Headed to the Citadel with Garrus and Thane. They both had business to take care of. Garrus wanted badly to kill Sidonis for betraying him and his vigilante squad. He also wanted to take a shot at "Fade", who we learned was that asshole Harkin that had been kicked out of C-Sec for bad conduct. Garrus was going to shoot him but I convinced him not to. Same with Sidonis. Not that I especially cared for his fate but I thought if Garrus assassinated him that it would ruin him. Despite what he wants to believe, he's not an assassin at heart. He realized that afterward and was happy I'd stopped him. Thane's son was being set up to become an assassin, probably thinking it all ran in the family. Thane didn't want him to go down that path. He certainly wasn't trained for it and the more we learned the more it became apparent he had no training. The target was high-profile and he was sure to be caught, if not killed. We stopped it all from going down with the help of Captain Bailey who made arrangements for Kolyat to do community service as amends. (Target was a scumbag.) Thane and Kolyat also made the beginnings of repairing their relationship. Zaeed had a mission of his own, getting the leader of the Blue Suns, Vido Santiago. Problem was that we were at a refinery and he was willing to destroy it - as well as all of its innocent workers - to succeed. I wasn't having it. I wasn't having it. Those people weren't dying for his petty revenge. Would have liked to take Santiago down; had a major dislike of mercenaries but wasn't willing to let innocents die. Zaeed was not happy in the end but he'll follow orders. Headed to the Migrant Fleet. Tali had been accused of treason but I knew that couldn't be true. Yes, there were issues between Cerberus and the quarians but she was given leave to serve with me. This meant something else was going on. The charge was that she was bringing active geth to the Fleet. She wasn't. Turned out her father and some others were putting inactive pieces together to test weapons on them. Got out of control, killed them and became a threat to the fleet. We stopped it and Tali begged me not to reveal the truth. I let Tali's own history against Saren stand as testament to her character. It was h. Went hunting on Omega with Samara for an Ardat-Yakshi. Samara's daughter, actually. She's a killer, drains the life right out of the victims she manipulates so that they willingly walk to their deaths. After meeting with Morinth I could see why. She's alluring. But I knew that, in the end, she's burn out my nervous system if I let her. She, Samara and I fought and Morinth ended up dead. TIM sent us to a so-called "derelict" Reaper where we hoped to find the IFF that allowed the Collectors to pass through the Omega-4 relay. I was skeptical about this not being a trap. What I did know was that a Cerberus team of scientists had gone there and there hadn't been any contact from them in a while. I brought Miranda and Tali along for this one. Found evidence of indoctrination. Then a kinetic barrier went up. Trap, like I said. Then the husk attacks came, which were presumably the remains of the scientists. Curiously, a hidden sniper had our backs. It was a geth that spoke to me and was wearing a piece of my armor. We were able to get what we need, destroy the Reaper core (which, I suppose counts as a known weakness for future reference) and gained an intact but inert geth. The aforementioned geth was given the name of Legion. He claimed there were two factions of geth, the true geth and the "heretics". The heretics worked for the Reapers and those were the ones we faced. More, they had a program which could potentially overwrite the true geth and make them serve the Reapers. He didn't want that to happen and I agreed to help. Along the way, the option to rewrite the heretics came up. Thing was, they had chosen to serve the Reapers on their own in the past. They might do so again. It was better to destroy them. Tali and Legion got into a...discussion. It was resolved peacefully and I think those two might not even be at odds. [Note: I'd noticed my crew was missing but I never saw it happen. Didn't get to play as Joker or anything. They just vanished. Have no idea how many missions I've done or if it means they're all dead. ] Gone through the Omega-4 relay. Whole crew is loyal and ready. Ship has received its upgrades. Went through. Tali was my fire specialist while Miranda led the other squad. Everything was fine. Found my crew but watched Kelly dissolve before my eyes. Rupert and Gabby suffered a similar fate, as did half the crew, or so Dr. Chakwas told me. Samara was taking me through the seeker swarms, creating a barrier to protect us. Garrus was going to lead a diversionary team. Mordin would escort the crew back to the Normandy. In the end, the giant human Reaper we found was destroyed, as was the base. Miranda gave her resignation directly to TIM, and I told him I was no longer working for him. There's more I could do but this game was buggy as hell. Therefore, I'm going to put an end to it. Never was able to flirt with Jacob or Thane.
