What did you do today in Mass Effect?

Well it didn't blow up, but it also didn't work right either. It didn't do the war assets like I had it set up to, and it gave me the Javik quest right away despite me telling it to wait till after the coup. So I deleted that save and tried reinstalling it. I'm back to mars again-and made a save. I think I should be able to test the mod from that file without starting a completely new game...but either way, if it doesn't work this time I'll probably just put the game on hold for a while. Mod issues make me angry. 

I started a new run twice, and neither time did it work sadly. I think the War assets setting took at least, but I still got Javik's quest right away. I give up. I just hope everything else works.

I'm too green to use mods. I can't even succeed with installin the controller mod - my xbox one controller doesn't work with MET no matter how much I try.

Started ME3, went up to the Citadel where I recruited Allers and dr. Chakwas. I'm about to visit Kaidan but it has to wait until I get back from work. I didn't face the Council yet. My waifu is back with meeeeee, finallyyyyyy!

Visited Kaidan for the 1st time, told him to get better.
Talked with the Council, Udina and Bailey.
Talked with Khalisah Bint Sinan al-Jilani with Paragon option.
Talked with Vega.
Went back to Normandy, talked with Traynor and Hackett. Got my hoodie, talked with Joker and Liara. Told Liara I still want to be more than friends
I'm about to visit Chakwas, just not today.

I saved Jack and David . I did all the Aria gang assignments. I also talked to kaidan for the last time in the hospital. I'm glad to see he's feeling better, but I hate that there's no more Kaidan content till the Coup. this is my slowest run ever probably, but hey I'll get it done someday.

Grissom Academy - sent students to the support.
Met with Miranda and Thane.
Visited Kaidan for the 2nd time, gave him whiskey. We're good.
Picked up all the sidequests, talked with everyone on the Citadel I could. Dated Liara in Presidium.

I completed all except Leviathan, Citadel dlc and ofc the series finale. But I'm super pissed right now because I couldnt get Conrad's dissertation because I didnt get that fucking stupid Elkoss Combine license in ME1   what a fucking odd prerequisite ... ugh way to screw a perfect playthrough, blegh. I guess I'll try to fix this if I play again but seriously I doubt I'm gonna play MET in a long time. At least Conrad is alive.

Also, ofc I cried because of my son Legion again. I played DA games before MET and I never noticed this



awww that is sweet. Also, Cole having awareness about other universes breaking space and time barriers, awesome.

I hope I finish this playthrough soon. Even if I'm pissed  lol

You need all 10 asari writings (ME1) Gavin Hossle's files (ME1), that stupid license and ofc Conrad needs to survive. I'm gonna use save editor right now to repeat his quest I hope it works, ofc it's cheating but yeah I cannot replay the entire trilogy because of this XD

Picked up and finished an ME3 run of Jeff Shepard. Adept/Earthborn/Butcher of Torfan. Background info: he was a complete ass. Never recruited Samara, Kasumi or Zaeed. Wrex died on Virmire. Got all of his squadmates killed except Garrus, Tali and Jack. The memorial wall on the SR2 was almost completely full. During his six months in lockup in Vancouver, Shep took stock of his life and realized his life choices made him a terrible person. Sure, people die in the line of duty (Ash) but Shep went out of his way to avoid doing the things that would have saved them. It also led to the deaths of Kelly, Rupert, Donnelly, Daniels and Chakwas. Even Conrad Verner. The Council died.

Post-SM, Shep basically went Paragon. In some ways he went overboard. Curing the Genophage with Wreave in charge and Eve dead is a recipe for disaster. The things he says on Earth and the slides on Tuchanka pretty much guarantee he's going to try to conquer the galaxy. Legion wasn't around so the geth died. Kasumi wasn't around, Bau dies (either than or the hanar homeworld). Without Zaeed, a turian colony is bombed. Without Samara, the Ardat-Yakshi all become banshees. Without Miranda, Oriana dies. Without Mordin, Maelon's data isn't saved. Without Thane, no one helps his son reform and there are no messages from him. Hence, the bad choices in ME1 and ME2 have had some major impacts.

In any case, Shep is very good to his squadmates and allies in ME3. He spends his time with everyone during the Citadel DLC. Kaidan is romanced and treated wonderfully. Javik doesn't join Liara but neither does he commit suicide. Instead, he moves to the hanar homeworld where, according to him, he'll be treated like a kind. First time I ever got that ending for him. Due to MEHEM, there is no star child and no beam choices. The Reapers and all varieties of husks are destroyed. Joker, EDI and Kaidan find Shepard. There is a memorial where Shep places Anderson's name plate on the memorial wall. Shepard and Kaidan hug. The end.

Anyway, I created a new John Shepard with Gibbed with really nice variables checked. He's a vanguard, which is my favorite class. (Finally decided to name new John files with date created: John2-19 in this case so I can figure out which John is which. I have six others and it's hard to remember who is who.)
