Pumped as fuck that it's finally almost the weekend so I can continue with Origins. I left off at the Temple of Sacred Ashes and I've still got the elves, dwarves, Return to Ostagar, and the Landsmeet to do.
Really I just want to finish and get to Awakening because I've still never played it all the way through.

I've been playing a lot of DAI but have been lazy about discussing it or taking screenshots. Most recently completed "In Hushed Whispers" and recruited Dorian, who is probably going to be my LI.

Finally finished the Dalish today and got to Orzammar.
I prefer to ally with the Werewolves, but I went ahead and lifted the curse instead. Rory already yelled at me for killing Connor and I'm not sure how many times you can piss him off.

Well I had a goal that I'd finish Origins before I left for a week long trip on Sunday. Considering I'm still in the Deep Roads and haven't started packing yet... probably not gonna happen.
I miss being a student. I got so much more gaming done.

Well I had a goal that I'd finish Origins before I left for a week long trip on Sunday. Considering I'm still in the Deep Roads and haven't started packing yet... probably not gonna happen. I miss being a student. I got so much more gaming done. I literally got right to Anora's door when I had to leave for the airport.  Cousland and Ser Gilmore were all excited to kill Howe. |

I played a little DAI today and fretted over which world state to import. Decisions, decisions! What did you end up importing? On another note, I’m playing through DAI as an Elven mage makes Aria. She’s got pretty grey hair and red vallaslin. Here she is! I’ll be romancing Solas (My Favorite in DAI and if I can manage another PT I’m going dwarf rogue for Sera next. My second favorite) I’ve been trying to figure out what specialization I go for when I get to skyhold (I’ve done In hushed whispers but haven’t touched side quests. Wanted to get it done quick so I could avoid disapproval’s with certain characters I’m a dirty cheater). Necromancer has 1 vote Rigt Mage has 1 vite knight enchanted has none. Help me out! |

I went with my no-nonsense Lady Aeducan (Leliana romance) and purple male Hawke (Fenrismance), but I'm thinking I'll go back and use my Zevran/Isabela world state instead. Or Leliana/Isabela. Urgh, I'm so bad at this! I'm trash and I'm going to be romancing Sera with a qunari agaaaiiin but I'm not sure which world state works best for that. Halp, anyone? I love her! (And I love dorfs with Sera!) 😍 I normally go Rift Mage but given she's gonna romance Solas, maybe KE? He likes the whole Magic Knight revive-the-ancient-elvhen-tradition thing! |

Ohhh, I always import Leliana romance actually HAHAHA. I imported one Morrigan romance I believe. Don’t get me wrong, I love Zevran but he got the skimpiest content and doesn’t even feel present. And I also love hearing Leliana fawn over her waifu. I chang up with Hawke but went Dalish Warrior/ Leliana, FHawke Mage/Fenris I’d switch to Leliana if you wanted your warden romance to feel more present. That’s the main difference IMO. Dwarf with Sera is my absolute favorite. I know everyone talks about Qunari with Sera because she thinks Qunari are hot, but whybdoesnt anyone talk about how Sera fan girls over dwarf Inquisitor being so cute? Hahahah when sera calls Inquisitor ducky >>>>> I cri evertim. Also, that brings it to: Rift Mage 1 Necromancer 1 Knight Enchanter 1 |

JewlieGhoulie I looooove how squeezy cute/smooshy/adorable Sera thinks Cadash is!  The main reason I go with a qunari isn't 'cause she's hawt for them, I just love the idea of two total outcasts ending up together and I usually play my dwarves more "dwarfy" and less "hate this dwarf rubbish" aaand I usually pair Leli with a dwarf so I gotta spread the love a little LOL. Also I like that Sera has to climb Adaar like a tree I'm not a pervert I promise. You're right that Leliana feels 10000% more present than Zev! I like pairing my Zev/Bela world states because they're old friends and neither expected the other (or... themselves.... lolol) to fall in love with the Warden/Hawke so it's neat, but man Leliana is THERE and has nice parallels with Sera. Tbh I think about this shit way too much.

Last night my Dalish rogue sealed the deal with Dorian. So sweet. Plus, gratuitous shots of Dorian's butt. I just wish I didn't know how it would turn out. One part of me wishes the Inquisitor would be the protagonist in DA4, but the other thinks the pattern shouldn't be broken and we get someone new. After all, I'm not sure the Inquisitor is in any shape to be the protagonist. Side note: Several days ago, while in the Fade, I had a choice to let Hawke or Stroud die. I chose Stroud. My reason? I thought Stroud was sexier! That scruff plus the big mustache really does something to me! If he looked like he did in DA2, he'd have been dead for sure, but that wasn't the case. Just for my own amusement, I'm posting a picture of him.  |

I had to do the archdemon fight TWICE because the first time my game crashed right after Alistair's victory speech and when I reloaded it took me straight to post campaign.
So I didn't get to see my ending slides or Ser Gilmore proposing to Cousland. Couldn't stand for that.
Excited to finally start Awakening. I've never finished it.

Saved Thedas from Corypheus. Had a party. One last meeting with Dorian in the privacy of my rooms. Learned the Leliana became Divine Victoria, some people bitched about the changes she made and things didn't go well for them. She just as badass as the Divine as she was as spymaster. I was sure it was going to be Cassandra because she talked about the changes she'd make while Leliana had little to say. About to jump ahead two years.

This doesn't really matter because Cousland's party is going to be Rory/Anders/Nathaniel and that's never changing for this play through... but like why couldn't Oghren die in the joining and Mhairi be a companion instead? I would have liked that much better. Without this mod I would have had to make do with three rogues and a mage or have to use Oghren/Justice as my tank and either way I would not have been a happy boy.

I've finally started making some progress in Inquisition again. Talked to everyone at Skyhold (that I like anyway) and finally got to flirt with Cullen again. Still think the open world really hurts the pacing of the romance because of how long it was between flirts... Also flirted with Blackwall just because I can and I love it, haha.  I'll probably start making some real progress tomorrow. My reason? I thought Stroud was sexier! That scruff plus the big mustache really does something to me! He is so attractive in Inquisition and his voice...  ...Just have to headcanon that he likes men.   So I didn't get to see my ending slides or Ser Gilmore proposing to Cousland. Couldn't stand for that. That's a perfectly valid reason for defeating the Archdemon again! That ending is very important to the romance!

His voice in Awaking is so good and it would have been amazing to have had heard it in Origins as well! It really fits the character so much more. Have to appreciate what was done though and the romance is just wonderful even with the Origins voice.  Justice/Anders/Nathaniel group is very interesting. True, Justice is interesting with everyone, especially for the future knowledge. Yeah, that was my group before I chose to bring along Ser Gilmore when I started playing Origins with mods. I replaced Justice, but I do miss him.
