I reinstalled the DAO, and continued Aerland Amell's story So I arrived at Ostagar with Duncan, and met with Alistair an ex-Templar Grey Warden. I was afraid we will not the best friend, but fortunately, he told, he hated to be Templar, and Duncan saved him – the Grand Cleric didn't really want to let him go. Poor guy, I thought the Templars did their own choice, but someone of them just as forced as we are. Of course, this doesn't mean I like them better, but this Alistair guy okay... more than okay, in fact... sigh... anyway, back to the task. I also met with two Grey Warden aspirant, Ser Jory, a warrior, and Daveth. Ser Jory seems not that interesting, but Daveth! I like him! Seems we will be good friends (those eyes!). Duncan said we have to gather some darkspawn blood, I'm curious: for what... and we need to search for some old warden contracts. Let's go. But as we went out of the camp the hound trainer stopped me. He asked for a herb for a mabari war hound, who injured from the darkspawn. Nice dog, I want to help him. I would like such a friend when I was a child, I remember, I got a puppy... It was before they took me away... to the Circle. Daveth told something about the Witch of the Wild. Seems, he fears, no problem, I will protect you, trust me! I'm sure just some apostates behind the legend... Daveth is funny and brave. We acquired the blood and found the place, where the contract should have been, but there was nothing just a weird apostate woman... she's that "Witch of the wild"? Haha, not that scary. But Alistair and Daveth warn caution. Alistair assumes, she will conjure us into a toad, if we're not vigilant. Oh my! I like him! I confronted with her about the contracts, and she told, her mother took them away, to save them. So: go to her mother. The old Witch of the Wild... I suppose she's just a strong mage, but who knows, perhaps a bit more... She got us the contracts. I don't think, she's malevolent. Go back to the camp. Oh wait, the herb! The dog needs it. Okay, I found one. At the camp, Duncan awaited us. So about that secret "joining ritual"... this isn't a trial. This is a fucking sacrifice. Anyway, better than the Circle... and as Daveth said if this needs to stop the Blight, then worth it. Seems Ser Jory already repented he wanted to join. Daveth was the first... but the poison in the darkspawn blood killed him. Rest in peace, mate, you could have been a good friend. Fuck. Ser Joy panicked, and pulled his sword. Duncan killed him. Okay, I'm the next one... (Joining – video) It's over. And I'm alive. I saw a strange ...dream? A weird dragon. That was the Archdemon? Probably. Duncan said, King Cailan wants to speak with us. I already realized that, but now it was clear: the King fond of Grey Wardens. And the heroic battles. And seems, Loghain doesn't happy about it. The battle plan was not that difficult. Cailan and the Grey Wardens start the battle, and when the time comes, Loghain will attack the Darkspawn with his army. My task with Alistair to ignite beacon on the top of Tower of Ishal. Let's go! We ignited the fire, but the darkspawn in the Tower defeated us. I woke up inside a hut – the home of the Witch of the Wild. Again. She and her weird daughter saved us. Why? And how? I have many questions.

I wanted to play DAI but realized that I uninstalled it a few weeks ago soooooooo, I have to wait whilst I re-install the game, it's newest patch, the PS4 system's most recent patch and more than likely all the dlcs need to be re-installed too. Never gonna uninstall that game again. I'm currently playing where I left off in my last DA2 run, been a few months since I last touched it. Did Varric's quest about his brother, brought Anders along, forgot he could temporarily snap Bartrand out of his red lyrium madness. Told Varric to kill him cos, well look at him, kindest thing to do. Earned myself some rivalry points in the process. Also ran into an ambush with Fenris, slavers wanted to talk, won't entertain that, killed em and we're on our way now to hunt down Magister Hadriana. I've also updated my avi to mark jumping back into the world of Thedas once more. I'm gonna finish DA2 this time, it's been years since I've done a full run. I have games on my shelf that I've yet to finish and that I should finish but dammit, Bioware games are so replayable and I miss the DA universe.

Aveline and Izzy just had another sparring match with one another, Hawke had to step in, girls pls. Off to start the courtship of Donnic quest, gave him some copper merigolds cos metal is strong and copper ages well or something. Would have been funny if we had to deliver that dowry of goats to his mother. Previous to this I had to track down Leandra's killer, ugh remember my first run, that quest hit the feelz hard, sick bastard. I still love sarcastic Hawke.

You are totally making me miss Dragon Age Origins reading about Aerland's adventures! It makes me want to play it all again. ...It probably doesn't help that I'm also listening to the beautiful soundtrack from Origins, haha.
I was able to convince one of my friends to start playing Origins and now I'm really excited about hearing about his progress and how he's enjoying the game. Warned him that he won't get me to stop talking about it now that he's into it, haha. Totally convinced to romance Alistair as well. I'm also looking forward to playing Dragon Age Inquisition soon after I finish Pillars Of Eternity 2. I am really, really looking forward to romancing Cullen again!

I'm having trouble installing Dragon Age Inquisition Mods! I'm not sure what the problem is! Everything worked just fine before. I was really getting into it, but I don't want to play if I can't romance Cullen.

I'm gradually getting through my DA2 run, should be starting Act 3 soon. Seamus was murdered, Petrice got an arrow in the face for her trouble, good. Izzy is still nervous around the qunari horde, came to Hawke's estate looking for help as did Aveline. Opted to help Izzy first, also told Merrill I'll help with the Eluvian. Sebastian still remains on the bench cos fuck that guy. Stumbled across this DA funny, still gives me a chuckle...

Just started a new playthrough of DAO. Here's a shitty phone pic of Caius Amell: <iframe width="22.539999999999964" height="13.100000000000023" style="position: absolute; width: 22.54px; height: 13.1px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 0px; top: 0px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_70956921"></iframe> <iframe width="22.539999999999964" height="13.100000000000023" style="position: absolute; width: 22.54px; height: 13.1px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 1054px; top: 0px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_53827254"></iframe> <iframe width="22.539999999999964" height="13.100000000000023" style="position: absolute; width: 22.54px; height: 13.1px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 0px; top: 592px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_34686059"></iframe> <iframe width="22.539999999999964" height="13.100000000000023" style="position: absolute; width: 22.54px; height: 13.1px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 1054px; top: 592px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_94598726"></iframe> I tried to make him look Amell-ish, and in true cousin-to-Hawke fashion he's going to be a snarky bastard who romances a grumpy grump, aka Morrigan. Dunno that I'll ever finish this one - I'm dwarf trash and I miss my dwarves already, plus this would make all three of my protags mages and I'm not about that life. But it's fun for now.

Oh! And from my most recent full playthrough of DAO, here's Gunna Aeducan. She was a pragmatic sort who romanced a hardened Leliana, preserved the Anvil, put her brother on the throne, and recruited Loghain. Lady Aeducan assumed she'd have to fight the Guardian to prove her worth, because isn't that how it's done? But these surfacers are strange, and had her answering riddles and talking to ghosts instead. Gunna is perplexed by the nuances of her companions' beliefs - except for Sten, who thinks the Urn is more like a wastebin - but she understands revering one's ancestors, and Andraste is an ancestor of the Alamarri people. Leliana and Wynne were suitably awed and all in all, it was a very good day. Especially the part where they left the Temple and beat the shit out of an angry dragon. Gunna Aeducan in Orzammar before everything went to shit Feeling criminally underdressed Meeting her future wife Obviously enamored by the beautiful murder nun "A little outside my purview, Wynne" This looks sanitary Alistair's naked because he didn't meet the strength requirements for any decent armor and I was salty and vengeful. Unsurprisingly he was too busy whining over his inevitable kingship to worry about being nekkid in front of the Arl. In other news romancing Leliana as an Aeducan is very Disney-ish, we're kissing by the campire and then it's all "TELL ME PRINCESS WHEN DID YOU LAST LET YOUR HEART DECIDE~~" And Gorim's final line to you lolol: "At any rate, I'll let these humans get back to their dwarf worship."

Obviously enamored by the beautiful murder nun Who wouldn't be? A naked Alistair, you say? r news romancing Leliana as an Aeducan is very Disney-ish, we're kissing by the campire and then it's all "TELL ME PRINCESS WHEN DID YOU LAST LET YOUR HEART DECIDE~~" Ah, I'd love to experience a gay Disney-type romance someday! Someday I'll get that gay Prince Charming!
I have to admit I've never played as a Dawrf, but she seems like a great character!

Ah, I'd love to experience a gay Disney-type romance someday! Someday I'll get that gay Prince Charming! I hope you get your wish! Leliana's romance isn't really my jam - Morrigan and Zevran are more my type - but after she went a lil dark in DAI I was tempted to go back and give her a shot... Plus it's so cute because she kneels down to kiss you if you're a dwarf lol. Thank you! I was stepping out of my comfort zone by playing a spoiled noble, but it was lots of fun.

I've been making some good progress in Inquisition. So far I've completed a good amount of the hinterlands (about two thirds of it) and will finally start making some progress in the main story soon. I really, really don't like Inquisition's open, empty worlds and endless fetch quests that are just notes telling to kill something or find something...but I do enjoy this area. The horse race is probably one of my favorite bits and I do wish they had done more with that and the horses! I've been able to flirt with Cullen twice and he is just so adorable! ...I'm just a bit sad that I will have to wait until Skyhold for more...since that is still about ten or more hours of game time away! Spending so much time out in the open world really hurts the pacing of the romance and story. I've also flirted with Blackwall and I'm really enjoying it. I just wish these two (or at least one of them anyway) had been canon gay romance options.

I started the worst part of the Inquisition (for me, ofc.), the WEWH... I want the public truce, but I'm not sure, I'll have enough patience for it. This quest annoys me! This full of wasted opportunities – and hallastatuettes... I just want to finish it as quickly as I can and go to the Fade to let Hawke go.

Thinking I'm going to replay Origins. Unfortunately that means re-teaching myself to mod it since the last time I did was two years and a different laptop ago.

Started a brand new run with a Dalish rogue Inquisitor. Origin apparently forgot my older saves so it's a fresh start. First time ever playing an elf and I can already seen differences from playing an elf, including agreeing with Solus about not trusting humans. Almost think I should have made him a mage just to further the oppression angle.
Anyway, closed the first big rift, began the Inquisition and have gone off to the Hinterlands. So far have closed one of the two rifts. Lots and lots of mages and Templars to take care of.

Beginning of Act II. Went and talked to everybody and I find I'm liking Jo Wyatt's Hawke more than I ever thought I would. I think it just took me a while to warm up to her. Flirted with Isabela, Fenris snapped at me, and 'Bela reeeaally doesn't like it when you do selfless stuff for no reason (see: booty. Both kinds ). Ah well, she'll learn to love me. I'm also taking Anders and Merrill around with me more often for this playthrough and that's been interesting; I loved that she asked about Carver and tried to reassure Hawke that him joining the Templars wasn't about her. "Poor boy," she said. Confronted the Harimanns with Sebastian. I will never understand nobles and their petty power struggles. Get a real hobby, damn.
