So, here is a thread where you can discuss your Dragon Age adventures across all games. Still waiting for DA4 news like Well, I dusted off my DA2 run earlier today and had to help a few companions out with their problems. Told Merrill to keep the Eluvian, sarcastically making my way through each conversation ofc, killed a Templar who wanted to lobotomize all the mages in Kirkwall whilst Anders was having a mini meltdown still struggling to keep Justice in-check. And sold some fancy pants to a Dwarf trader, just a typical Hawke day.

Okay, here my current red!Hawke (blood/force/primal/fire), a bit weird, my plan was totally different with him, but I just let him lead me. Planned rivalry with everyone, except Anders, not succeed, Fenris already 100% friend, and Isabela lost... not this was the one, who needed to try the rivalry. He's not really able to make good person anyone... he's just a massive alcoholic bastard, but not that bad. Varric, Aveline, Isabela (lost...), Sebastian: rivalry, Anders, Fenris, Merrill, Carver friendship – Carver was also planned to rivalry... (Some background under the link) So: Ralph Hawke's diary(Charactersheet)Finding NathanielAnders and I just went to Aveline, for some rumours, when a black haired lady stopped us. She asked us to find her brother, a Warden, Nathaniel Howe. When Anders heard his name, exhilarated, I not really remember, when he was such enthusiastic recently... Was something between them? And why this bothers me? Anders tells they were together in Amaranthine, just usual warden things... okay, let's go for him, Anders perhaps would kill me, if I refuse that. But the Deep Roads' not that funny place, so, probably we need some help. I called Fenris and Aveline. As Nathaniel's sister said, we followed our old path of the expedition, through some Darkspawn, and found Howe. Should I be jealous? Rather let's go! We found Nathaniel, this was the task. We're done here... ..as I imagined. But Nathaniel had another plan, his crew missed, he doesn't want to come without them. Of course, let's go to save people! Aveline doesn't like the idea to protect „foolish” Wardens „from themselves”. A dwarf, named Temmerin Glavonak, from the Vigil's Keep, helped us with his explosive. He said a little farther, maybe there are survivors. Other groups of Darkspawn, and... Carver?! Thanks to the Maker we didn't leave! Did he thank me? Who are you? Did you eat my brother? Or the Taint ate his brain... Now, we're done here. Okay, new target: The Hanged Man! +videos (To be continued.)

I've got my new DA2 runs mostly planned out. I deleted all of the games I had going that weren't completed.
So now DA2 is in my notebook all neat and colorized. I still haven't decided who I am going to romance with which Hawke yet, but other than that they're all mapped out. 2 of them are made and through the opening quest.
Going to try a warrior for the first time, but first I want to buy the warrior armor pack (already have the rogue and mage ones). An aggressive warrior, which will be 2 firsts, since I usually go purple and occasionally diplomatic.

Yay for this thread!
I played some DA:I last night. I did Varric's personal quest last night and it had the most hilarious bug. For whatever reason Bianca just disappeared. Half the time she was supposed to be talking it'd just show the sky (awkward as we were undeground) and no sounds at all. Then the quizzy and Varric would talk like she was still there and had actually said something. Iron Bull was probably like "These people are insane!"
I was going to do Cole's quest, but I had too many war table quests already started-so instead I spent the time I had left doing the many quests tied to fighting the dragon in the Western Approach. Will be fighting him next-and doing cole's quest. After that I guess I'll either go to the Emerald graves or start the winter Palace quest one.

I've got several DAI games going where I need to get that over with and instead I'm running around looking for shards to feel like I'm busy. I'd like it much better if not for the timed aspect. Any timed quests are just...ugh. I hate feeling pressured. Another reason not to recruit the Templars I suppose.

I've never let anyone die, but I always dread watching that little timer tick down and having to run back to kill more red templars. also I noticed I called the high dragon a male... whoopsy. I'm sure she won't notice and fight extra hard later tonight right? lol

First of all I love how deeply Catilina writes his adventures and characters in a language that is not even his native one, I'm a lazy bastard so I relate and I admire that. As some of you know already I started from scratch my canon Warden (Ryllel Amell I love you so much ) yesterday to do a better canon run for the next game, thinking about changing my Hawke to do two runs, the gay run with Alistair/Andenris?/Bull and the lesbian run with Leliana/Isabela/Seraphine? I dont know when I'm going to complete this tho because I've started some many games without finish them Anyway I installed the bi overhaul mod wishing there wont be any misgendering because I had a lot of s/s mods installed and this is me pretty much installing mods lol aaaaand I have installed this one with DA2 grey warden armours, they are so pretty, the immersion is a lot of better (I have to install DA2 Isabela mod too) I'm seeing new flirts I didnt see the first time and it's so cool Alistair luv u so much edit. Question, what does romanced Alistair tell you if you ask him about a Warden that did the ultimate sacrifice????? I have had this question in my head for about a year and I havent found the answer, it would be cool he didnt tell you anything about the Warden tho damn queer headcanon Bioware you evil edit2. I mean in Inquisition and Warden Alistair lol edit3. Nevermind, I found it, he doesnt mention the warden edit4. Although my canon is King Alistair but it seems he totally ignores the warden in DA2 and DAI if she's dead which it's good for me

You now want to replay your favourite Warden, Hawke and Inquisitor with some changes in their decisions? You don't need to sacrifice him, I suppose. If Alistair be king, you must hardened him to keep the Warden as lover. Here's a video from DA2. I suppose a bit disappointing. (And I don't know, how handles the modded romance.)

The ultimate sacrifice is the only option for me if I romance Alistair keeping continuity and coherence at the same time, I dont want misgendering with my character I asked about what Alistair has to say about a dead romanced warden to see what I would be missing, but it seems the content is almost non-existent which is good, there's a line in DA2 for Warden Alistair, but my canon like i said is King Alistair (rules alone), 10 years single and mourning my warden in loneliness King Alistair cameos are kinda short and weak but it really helps my canon to make sense.

I see, okay, sadly, I didn't found any video, where king Alistair speak about his dead love. He only refers his queen/mistress in DA2 I suppose (I'm not sure about the mistress, but I heard, if i remember correctly).

Started another playthrough of DAI (with imported decisions from DAO & DA2). Now as warrior class – playing warrior feels like a straighty dudebro tbh. Lol. And everybody loves you not hates you as when you`re gay mage I always played as mage before. Now being warrior myself I kicked out Blackwal from my party and took Solas instead. Now we`re: me (tank), Solas(walking encyclopedia – I`m not impressed with his battle skills but I`m curious what he has to say about everything in Thedas), Dorian(battle mage\healer) and Varric (I don`t like his skills in this game, he was much better in DA2 but I`d like to hear what he has to say too). For my very first playthrough (as mage on nightmare) I had Blackwal, Sera and Dorian as my squadmates. Started romancing mister Moustache again a-aaand… I don`t care… his romance is good. As usual. I`m going to save Hawke this time cause when I first played this game I killed him because I didn`t know who he was (DAI was my first game in the series – then was ME3, then DA2 and then DAO, ME1 and ME2). I also have separated save as low level rouge with longbow but I don`t really like it. Warrior combat system is boring but armor with sword and shield looks cool. Still mage is my favorite class. And my Shepard is adept.

(And can be disappointing enough with knowing the backstory too, but for other reasons, and there are reasons to save him/her – I can't leave him...)

So I can't say I'm a fan of red Hawke. She just comes off as a jerk most of the time. I have trouble being actively mean in games, when the people don't actually deserve it. Strangely enough I have no trouble with purple Hawke's snarky and completely inappropriate comments on things. I am really liking the 2H warrior spec though.

I mainly play blue Hawke because I'm boring and feel bad about taking the mean/rough choices.

But honestly, I think even then I gave up about midway and went back to blue-to myself I had to be true.

Red Hawke is just...mean though. I am not enjoying it so far, but then I'm not very far in yet either. So far with these new games I have: Grace - Mage/purple/Bela Abigail - DW Rogue/blue/Anders Selena - Mage/blue/Merrill Delilah - Warrior/red/Seb (that's right, choir boy is gonna get the mean one) Corinne - Archer/purple/Fenris I'm making sure to change up the choices with everything (mercs vs smugglers, Templar Carver vs GW Carver, etc) so that I make sure I have as much variety as I can.

I mostly go with purple or purple/red.
But actually I'm in love my red/purple Hawke, I didn't even expect before, how much... (my first red Hawke – I don't even know, he has a good concept, or not, but I enjoy.)
And I can imagine him, a hot-headed mage, who was never so good on the communication. He mostly feels alone even if he was in a circle of people. He has humour but rude enough to hurt people, not necessarily intentional. Even Varric doesn't into his humour, and he didn't get when Varric called Anders "Whathisname that possessed mage", and doesn't like to be one of Varric stories and rumours. He didn't understand, why Isabela let Castillon blackmail her when she just would kill him, and Hawke would have been happy to help her in this... And Aveline. She able to make angry him in every little time, even he knows, Aveline is a loyal friend. After his mother died, he refused Aveline's consolation, and he regretted it, he knew, Aveline didn't deserve that.
Many people fear him, and he does everything to keep this image, but not that murderer.
I have one blue Hawke who's not my favourite. Ended with the Templars, for Carver, while he supported the mages... He's my tragic one, he just wanted to be nice to everyone, and save everyone, and he failed. Oh, and the first one was blue (mostly, as I remember, but used the purple too, so I'm not sure about it), it was long ago, I just remember, I liked him.
