Loads of progress again. I cleared most of storm coast and Fallow Mire. Then I did in your heart shall burn. After making it to skyhold I completed almost all the companions quests available at this point. I just unlocked Cassandra's though. She generally doesn't like me too quickly cause I am pro mage trash. I soft locked in with Iron Bull then killed my first dragon! yay, for cheesy drinking and Iron Bull talking about my pc's ass. After that I gave him the necklace, so he's already calling me Kadan which is nice. It's strange that you don't officially lock in later on despite there already being the huge commitment moment during the necklace scene where all the big wigs minus leliana walk in on you #%#king. (she almost did already so it's only fair she miss out for once) Hmmmm, I completed most of crestwood and oh yeah I unlocked my specialization (tempest). That seems like such a short summary for so many hours put into the game. Edit: Also forgot that I haven't done Solas' quest yet. I'm thinking about putting it off till after the next main quest (since I get a greatly disapproves from siding with the wardens). His quest has a lot of points, and I think I'm nearly maxed with his friend points anyway. So seems like a smart move to wait.

I kind of forgot about doing updates, since not many people seem to post here anymore. Anywho-I'm nearing the end in some ways-and far from it in other ways. I'm 64 hours into this run and I have completed most of the areas. There's still a lot of war table clutter though sadly. those things never seem to end.
I haven't done the dlc yet (any of them) and my next main quest is "what Pride hath Wrought". I'll be going after Samson tomorrow night most likely.
I was planning to do the dlc in the post-game state, but I remember now that Solas will be gone and I didn't recruit viv..that leaves me with having to deal with Dorian being harassed/flirted with by Iron Bull. So I might have to do at least Jaws of Hakkon dlc first before going to the end game. I don't think you get much banter during Descent (and I might not even do that one).

Doing the Deep Roads right now on DA1, I now understand everyone’s pain comments on this section XD. They are soooo long, it’s weird how all other story quests felt pretty good length but now jumping into orzamar as my final grey warden contract recruitment, and this bit is soo long and so much backtracking before jumping into the deep roads too. Though I will say it feels the level design with the most care at the same time. I’m close to the end though hopefully.
