My friend who's playing DAI for the first time says he just met "that rogue you're in love with" (lolol no shame  ) as well as Blackwall and Vivienne (he thinks she's a hottie). He's been pushing through the Hinterlands closing Rifts and collecting shards and made it to Redcliffe. I'm looking forward to hearing about In Hushed Whispers and In Your Heart Shall Burn. Meanwhile the Warden's like... Speechless?  That too!  |

Damn. Cullen looks good with a guy in his bed..... ; My Adaar mage just got trounced at Haven and has just settled into Skyhold. I'm really enjoying the battle mechanics of playing as a mage. My biggest issue is that it doesn't make sense for him to support circles (being a Tal-Vashoth apostate and all), which means that my decisions aren't pleasing Vivienne. I've never done a playthrough where she dislikes me. I need my fabulous friend at my side.  Starting this weekend, I'll take on the new areas that opened up and start my long and arduous quest towards big boi love scenes as Bull is set firmly in Adaar's sights...... |

I restarted my human mage Warden and renamed him Eldoth (bc I've had Baldur's Gate on the brain) and while I was Googling BG stuff I came across this very Harlequin-y but old-school-charming image of a pirate captain: who looks suspiciously like a more weathered version of my Warden! So I've decided that this is what he looks like a few years down the road.  He made it through his origin story today - which mostly consisted of him going, "whaaat, Jowan's a blood mage?! The gall! The impudence!!" whilst quietly pretending he himself hadn't been looking at those books on blood magic that are RIGHT THERE IN THE CIRCLE TOWER ON THE BOOKSHELVES, WTF. WHAT KIND OF CIRCLE IS THIS. (I mean, they're probably full of Chantry propaganda, but if Jowan can stumble his way into blood magic then Eldoth ain't worried about shiiiit.) Anyway, he's about to drink some darkspawn blood so that's fun. (The trilogy run has begun!) |

Corypheus is dead and Cullen ponders what's next for the two of them. Playing against Josephine isn't the best thing to do. Spymaster becomes the new Divine Cullen proposed and here we are! Thanks to Mother Giselle for helping out. |

I nabbed some screenies of my newest son Eldoth Amell. These were taken during his origin story. I tried to make him look like a cross between Garrett and Carver Hawke... he's a deceptively lazy, subversive little shit who likes to mess around with dark magic. I love him, I don't trust him. 👌 Today he officially became a Grey Warden - didn't even question that there was a shady darkspawn blood ritual involved, 'cause he's all over that shit - and met a sexy swamp witch who called him handsome and introduced him to her mother. Life outside the tower is GREAT. |

This makes me want to replay Origins for some reason  brb, going to make a character  (a city elf mage, because I can  ) Edit: She isn't terribly different from the last Warden I made, but I mean, there is not all that much I can do with DAO CC. |

So we made it to the end of the origin. Poor Neria is an emotional wreck right now, having slaughtered a castle worth of guards and the arl's son (they deserved it  ), one of people she lived next to for her whole life slain in front of her, the husband she didn't want to marry killed trying to save her (I can save myself, thanks...but we could've been friends in a world without arranged marriage and stupid lordlings), her cousin/best friend raped, her whole life uprooted (I mean it wasn't perfect life...but it was mine)...and a guard saw her use magic and then legged it, so she can't even weasel out of this Grey Warden business because she would have Chantry on her heels soon anyway. |

I finally reinstalled the game and was going to try out some new mods and romance Blackwall again but instead I ended up replaying my old Mage through Trespasser once more and cooing over the cute shit he had with Bull. (Also spent at least twenty minutes trying to save a dragon before I remembered the mark caused damage and I could destroy the annoying obstruction that way.  ) |

Today I finally got around to figuring out how to get two mod managers to play nicely together - and then had to figure out why Haven's Chantry became a scary void of brokenness but it's all fixed now.  I'm Mage trash so I present my newest Inquisitor, Elis. He's not who I set out to play when I reinstalled the game sorry Blackwall you'll have to wait but I'm having fun anyway. I've not played in a few years so it's like learning everything all over again. |
