I accidentally saw that on twitter, and someone else as well from another game. Is like I want to avoid spoilers but is now gonna be hard to avoid them.  My thoughts on that pic lmao: But also wtf is that hair and he looks so old ANYWAY Been listening to a lot of no spoiler reviews, one of the important factors I got from character creation is factions. The factions will really influence what dialogue options you get and will also impact your romances. The game does give you a prompt when your locking down a romance to confirm. So just some tidbits to take into consideration. Some minor spoiler ish reactions im hearing from romances: Lucanis felt like a slow burn, meanwhile Davrin and Taash apparently have spicier stuff. Haven't heard from Emmerich yet. Also hearing the game also has low amount of sexy show skin armors, there's a lot of practical ones booo, mods will have to fix that  . Another common criticism from the more really negative ones is some people still not into the graphic change which yeah I get it, it will get time to get used to. But in terms of the landscape and levels are very beautiful. Some have also struggled recreating their inquisitor because of the art style change. |

I am more than likely going to just pre-order this on steam and play this week if my computer can handle it! (If not I'll check out your suggestions!)
I want to say I'll try an elf just because my Dragon Age journey started with the Dalish Elf origin and I played as an elf first in Inquisition. But I am also very boring and like playing as a human...so we'll see! It might just come down to whether I can make a decent looking male elf! They did not look good at all in 2 and Inquisition.
For the factions I am leaning towards Veil Jumpers, Lords Of Fortune, and Antivan Crows...I just don't really know yet what type of character I want to play since I'm going in mostly blind.
Lucanis is the only romance I have a mild interest in, so he's pretty much guaranteed to be the first one I try.

Is it just me or did Dorian revert back to his pre-inquisition concept art (and aged up considerably?) To be fair I always found it a bit uncomfortable how they changed his eyes from brown to blue like a month before the launch, but now back to brown...it's such a drastic change from one moment to the next. |

I would say his Inquisition eyes were grey like most of of the companions, but I always liked his original promo look with the hazel/amber better. |

I’m not against his new look in theory. I remember early concepts for him tried to make him like the classic DnD warlock character art (based on 90s grunge/punk rock) but I think the issue is the new art style, him being older (so it feels mid life crisis) as opposed to the original concept art was to portray a rebellious youth. Also I feel linked as he got older he’d be more gaudy and he looks a little austere. Oh well. It’s the same with solas. Like… his outfit is literally Skyrim thalmor. There’s a little bit of wonk here and there visually to this game.

Saw a bit about which companions can romance each other - though from what I also read, it's like Bull and Dorian where they need to be in a party together. So, if you're like me who always brings their romance with them, that's just not gonna happen now we're limited to two at a time. Neve and Lucanis, Emmrich with a non-companion, and Taash and Harding.
I had also read about two companions wanting the same person but there was little detail about who so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Edit: I have also seen mention of Davrin and Neve. So maybe the thing about two people wanting the same person is that. |

I just remembered that the game will start d/ling for me today @ 11 AM. That's pretty exciting. I'll have to play something that doesn't require any internet or maybe watch a couple movies on disk (or something).  |

I'm hearing the ending might have been posted somewhere just to be aware everyone.
Also I'm hearing that is highly recommended you do most of the side quests as there's a lot of content you could miss out or impact the ending as well. Apparently some of the more critical reviews blasted through it a bit and missed out on some things.
I recommend this video on tips on the game without spoilers, these are purely tips about character creator and gameplay such as armors and combat, from what I understood you won't have weight carrying issues like BG3 was my hell with that XD. You can also wear any outfit regardless of faction:

I hope I don't jinx it, but I think this is the least I've known about a big game going in-in a very long time. I am excited and nervous in equal measure. I hope I get enough right in my first run that I don't have to redo it all.  I do wish I knew how early on we get all the companions-honestly that's the one bit of info I would like to have, but I am afraid to dig anywhere. So I'll just wait for another almost 14 hours. |

It's two discs and I still have 85 gigs to download, I could have preloaded the digital and started at the same time...
