Second playthrough I'm torn between Lohse and Sebille so to help me decide I turned to YouTube for a sneak peek... I did it the fun way, romanced Sebille while playing as Lohse

I tried starting a new run as a non-origin character, got to Fort Joy but couldn't continue. I really missed Lohse's character tag in conversations >_<

www.pcgamer.com/divinity-original-sin-2-is-adding-free-gift-bags-through-the-year/?ns_campaign=article-feed&ns_mchannel=ref&ns_source=steam&ns_linkname=0&ns_fee=0Today, the first of several "Gift Bags" is getting released. Gift Bags are different from loot boxes, the studio points out, because loot boxes are hard and contain loot, while Gift Bags are soft and contain gifts. Those gifts include brand new character customization options, such as new faces, facial features, and hairstyles to use in your next campaign. Gift Bag #2 will be coming out at a later, unannounced date, and will include more new customization options and other content that’s "inspired by our modding community." Larian is working with European developers Fools Theory and Anshar Studios to assemble the new content. Larian says there will be more Gift Bags added as free updates throughout the rest of the year, but they’re keeping the details on what those will include close to the vest for the time being.

I just started a new run of DOS2. I love the new hair and face options! You can make some very attractive characters now! I'll take a screen shot eventually, but I forgot to do so during CC.

As often happens. I decided to restart the game early on. So attempt 2 of this run.

Yes. There's some great new options in the CC now. I can't wait to redo my whole team, cause I'm terribly shallow and want a hot team!

Making some great progress. I'm getting closer to finishing the first Island. I didn't do any update lately so worth mentioning happenings: 1. I accidentally argo'd Sebille and didn't have a recent save...RIP 2. I managed yet again to safely get the cat out of the fort. 3. I am only using my main team this time around: My ranger Reece, my husbando Ifan (cleric again-I'm weird), Fane (wizard), and Beast (battlemage) Yeah I left them both at their defaults. -shrug- I know it's the same team I used my first run but I have to say that's probably going to be my team set up every go since the other 3 team options are problematic for me personally. I might use Loshe again someday though since at least her mistaking me as a romance option is one-sided and my character can shut her down without ever leading her on. Still it bothers me that she just assumes I'm in love with her cause I'm not a complete asshole to her.

I have my team friend maxed already. I made it to the sawmill tonight. I'm level 14 (and a half xp progress wise). I suspect I shall complete reapers coast before too awfully much longer. I would have probably kept playing since I didn't really want to go to bed (I never do), but the sawmill quest is such a cluster f-that I didn't want to take on that long battle sleepy. Too bad there's no way to get out of that situation peacefully (at least if there is, it probably requires more hoops than I'm willing to jump through).

I hope it's an expansion of sorts! Also...I hope it isn't a mobile game. Doesn't appear to be one, but the graphics are odd in that trailer. good sometimes cringe others. eh.. Anywho. I just finished the nameless isle questline tonight. Starting Arx soon (probably not before I sleep, but who knows really...) I really enjoyed romancing Ifan again. Outside of Jaal he's the best ps4 era hubbers! The fallout 4 ones are right after those 2. Edit: that new thing is a full new game apparently. Seems to be implying you play as a new character and meet the 6 companions from the original game back from the dead. (not sure on that but sure sounds like they were dead). No mention of what it's being released on. Or what is different in that game than the original.

www.usgamer.net/amp/divinity-fallen-heroes-one-small-change-makes-a-big-tactical-differenceSounds like the dialogue is going to be more faction based, rather than individual relationships between you and characters. So I wouldnt expect romance stuff or anything like that. (could always be wrong though) "Once you've chosen your course, you then have to build your squad. In Fallen Heroes, your squad will be led by a hero, one of your Godwoken crew (and Malady!). They have skill trees and approval ratings, which both will determine how they work on the battlefield." "When you're not out on the battlefield, you're looking at your advisors and the war table. Larian says that the ship from Divinity: Original Sin 2, the Lady Vengeance, will return and be upgradeable over time. It's here that you'll also make a number of narrative decisions." "Divinity: Fallen Heroes is based around these narrative choices. Who will you help? Who will you fail? As you make decisions, your Godwoken heroes will shift in response. You'll spend a lot of time on the Lady Vengeance, talking to your crew and getting into their feelings about your actions. It's not just about what you want to do, it's about managing these different internal factions. Long time Divinity fans will recognize this meta gameplay loop from a previous game."

I finished my latest run of DOS2 (my third since I'm still counting for now). Hmmm, I'm tempted to replay it again right away. I might have an addiction to good games. What can I say?

I'm really torn right now. So, my birthday is coming up on May 7th and my mom has promised to get me one game. (I have 40$ in my psn account right now but she's willing to pay for the game entirely so I would still have that afterwards)
I have Original Sin 1, haven't beaten it but I'm really enjoying it. Now, I'm stuck on whether I should get Original Sin 2, get extra psn money to buy Borderlands 3 day 1, or get Code Realize, an otome dating game that I heard has a great story.
So, I was wondering how good this game actually is. Things I look for are replayability, engaging story, engaging characters, and customization. (Good romance is a plus but not a must)
I know you can make a character or pick one. Does making one cut you off from major content/make the game worse in any way?
Any answers to any of my questions would be much appreciated. Sorry to trouble anyone, I just trust user recommendations more than critics. (I'm a pessimist when it comes to dignity among reviewers)

There are 4 races (plus undead variations), 6 origin stories, and various play styles to explore. The CC is not the best ever, you mostly just get to pick through a few preset type options-but they are adding new ones still via patches. the ones added recently are great. You can customize not only your character but your whole team of 4 characters. No major content is cut off by playing an original Character. In some ways you unlock more content by playing since you get a 7th origin story in a way. Plus all the origin characters are there in game to pick from to form your team. No trouble at all. I'm sure others will jump in too. It's a game that got a lot of people talking. The romances are quite nice too by the way.

I'm liking the sound of this game more and more every time I hear about it. Post-launch support is always a big bonus for me, and I'm relieved to hear playing a custom doesn't punish the player, because that's what I would do. I'm leaning heavily towards this game now, because I'll get Borderlands 3 eventually, just not day one if I go this route. And I won't lie, I'm hyped to hear the romance is good. I just love good character development, especially when it comes to relationships.

(I'm a pessimist when it comes to dignity among reviewers) Gotta agree with Lee. DoS 2 in excellent and from what I've heard it is an improvement over DoS1. It has replayability (many viable builds) and engaging story and characters. The customization is a bit limited but there are still many options. At least 2 romances in the game are considered great by many. I would suggesting not buying BL3 at launch unless you are a big fan of looter shooter like me. While BL game usually also has great replayability and engaging story and characters, the game still largely focuses on action. BL3 is also expected to have many expensive DLCs. Waiting for those DLCs to be included in the goty edition of the game and then buying it might give you most bang for the buck.

Waiting for those DLCs to be included in the goty edition of the game and then buying it might give you most bang for the buck. You make a really good point here, I hadn't thought of it like that. I purchased the Handsome collection for Borderlands 2 and the Pre-Sequel, so I wasn't aware if the dlc was usually expensive or not, but I know the GOTY editions are usually the best deal. DoS 2 in excellent and from what I've heard it is an improvement over DoS1. I already love the first one, so if this is the case, then I'm sure I'd have a blast with 2! Thank you very much for your input, I trust the opinions of both you and Lee when it comes to what RPGs are good quality. Out of curiosity, may I ask which two romances are considered good?
