From the same interview, Todd mentioned that around 10% of 1000 planets contained life. He also said that individual locations are handcrafted but are placed in the procedually generated planets. So I am going to assume that most of those 1000 planets are just for exploration and radiant quests. Most main and side quests will only happen on a handful of planets. i'm in the same situation as you ogre, I need to build a new pc soon, I was waiting for Dreadwolf to do it but ...  EA of BG3 works fine with my current pc and I want to play that game first so I dont know when I'm going to do it but late this year for sure, the money tho there goes my botox saving lmao  im kiddingSame with you and Orge, I am building a new one soon. I just wait for RX7700-7800 and their reviews to see my options. It's unfortunate that both Nvidia and AMD dropped the ball on RTX 4060/ti and RX 7600, as they are overpriced and offers little upgrade. |

If that's the case then ugh. I hate empty areas - though I also hate zones that are nothing but enemies so... I guess I will have to see what the planets are like before I fully judge. I do like exploring and if I can take a companion with me maybe it won't be so bad, but otherwise I guess I just won't visit them unless I really need to. (Especially if there's long ass cutscenes every time you want to land or take off and aren't skippable.)

Ideally, she'll just be an adopted daughter he took in rather than have to deal with an ex-wife....or better yet give him an ex-husband!!!!

I mean, I hope so, but their track record is only 2 games, and one of them limited the options for your protagonist's sexuality for story reasons. Plus after Andromeda and Odyssey's DLC, I don't trust even track record.

I voted Sam Coe...but the dead spouse possibly looming over could lead me to Barrett. IDK..I mean I still romance MacCready in FO4 every game-so maybe it isn't a deal breaker for me anyway.  I picked Constellation but honestly, I know nothing about the factions ATM. |

Todd did mention they were 4 companions that were a lot more developed as romances, perhaps others can be minis but I wouldn’t get my hopes up but still, if all 4 are bi then they are at least equal options. I been reading from leakers and other sites. From the esrb page, it says there isn’t any sex per say but it is implied it happened via suggestive dialogue after likely a fade to black scene. If you don’t mind spoilers on the specific lines (unspecified which char says them): Life is a sexually transmitted disease that's a hundred percent fatal"; "I'm all for getting a little wild, but next time let's try it without the jetpacks"; "Talk about seeing stars, whew… that was amazing Here you can also find the choices for building your char in terms of traits, skills and such: gofile.io/d/Q8tv12Unfortunately there isn’t much on romances yet because leakers seemed more focus on testing how big the game is and creating drama over one planet saying “boundary reached”, as in you reach the limit of the planet, but other reviewers are saying that is not the whole story and defending the game’s planet exploration. I'm hoping everyone is bi if there's only 4. It does suck a little if you want to go for a different factions and the romances are all tied to one specific one though. Makes the other factions like the criminal ones not feel as important unless you can tread a thin path between chosen faction and your romance. It was nice to finally see some of the character creation stuff though, helps me to plan out my first character ahead of time somewhat.
As for leakers, people whining over 'boundary reached' is just ??? what do they want? To just jump off the edge of the planet or something?
