I have been reading and watching various leaks to see if there’s anything about romance. But it looks like leakers are just going to play the game as a walking simulator lol. One good thing for those who prefer playing 3rd person is that 3rd person animations are significantly better than in Fallout 4.
For romance, I really expect all LIs to be bi, like how it is in Skyrim, Fallout 4 and even Fallout 76.

The romance option list is out. The options are Sarah, Sam Coe, Barrett, and Andreja. There has been no mention of gender locking so far. |

Great to see Barrett confirmed. So far haven't found their romance stuff, but surprise surprise, already found some of the romance stuff for the ladies, sharing anyway cuz gotta support our f/f romances too and it gives you an idea what it could be for males using these as base too:

Scottphoto cool! yeah no romance animations as expected but 24 minutes of dialogues is cool, I havent watched anything just looked at the thumbnails haha hope modders can give us kiss animations at least... or more  Rouccoco Same  to play this I'm gonna need to update the pc haha edit said this, if every character has 24 minutes of content and there are only 4 romances, its by far less content than Fo4 excuse me I only have Barrett in my head I cant think straight

So what's the deal with Sam Coe's previous partner? I read a guide like the one you posted and it mentioned a quest about his wife...I assume she's dead, but it didn't give any details. I hope we aren't helping him with a divorce or worse a throuple marriage...no thanks. |

My experience with the game so far: Loaded it up, it tries to load shaders - Crash #1 (the game crashed so hard it fucked my speakers and my monitor) Loaded into game 2nd time, got a tiny bit further. Went to speak to an npc. Game froze mid dialogue - Crash #2 Loaded the game up. Realized it hadn't autosaved at all during what I had played and would need to do a new game again. Try to quit the game in frustration. As soon as I hit 'quit' the game freezes. - Crash #3 This was within the first 16 minutes of my play time. I didn't even make it to character creator. I bought it on cdkeys so I can't even refund it and will just have to wait and hope for patches.  I'm going back to Baldur's Gate. |

So the new GTX 4060 (probably the max I can get for my mini pc without running into power supply issues) barely does 60 fps on low details. LOW.
So uh...have fun, I'll join in like 2-3 years?

I managed to get past the crashes by moving the game to a different drive. The character creator is somehow more annoying than Fallout 4's was. However, I still can't play the game right now because the first combat space mission I got left me wanting to hurl because first person+spinning camera+spinning space does not play nicely with me.  Ugh, I was only in combat for maybe five minutes and I want to throw up. I think I'll wait to see if any mods come out to help with this because right now it makes me sick. Just trying to navigate space without combat isn't any better.
Edit: I need to lay down for a bit, I've never had a game kick in my motion sickness this quickly.

I’m glad I didn’t pre-order and am not overly eager to play. My pc is over the minimum specs, close to the recommended specs, but I’m seeing people with my set up struggling to get the game working. The min/recommended pc requirements are especially goofy with this one. |

The fov is so tight to your character that zooming out as much as I could didn't do much. The space combat just... even now a few hours later I still feel pretty queasy. I'm going to wait, I don't want to be soured toward the game because it leaves me feeling sick currently. I got to make my character and meet Barrett, but little else. |

Fair enough! Hopefully a mod does come out, given is bethesda at least there’s always a good chance for a mod. But I get it, Me and a friend stopped playing outriders because he could not tolerate the motion sickness he was getting from it, so we just abandoned it since we weren’t very invested on it anyways.
I know first person talking to chars is very bethesda, but it reminds me to anthem too in not a good way XD.
Has for the past relationships of our romances it conflicts me Barrett having a husband because while is nice to see a bi char with male history, I always feel bad about the whole I lost my husbanr story because I feel I’m not their true love and just a replacement lol. That said, given these are older male chars, I suppose it makes sense their direction/approach.

Yeah I had the same issue with Outriders. In this game the third person combat I did wasn't too bad though the jog speed is so stupidly fast, but as soon as I got into space and had to do the first forced space combat section it was game over, everything rapidly spinning around whilst I tried to find and fire at what was shooting at me was just not great for me. I still have a headache and feel a bit blech even now.
