Seems like rangers will be more fun to play as and there will be some iconic characters returning. Larian has also apparently been working on BG3 since 2017. Awesome.

So no one mentioned that Baldur's Gate (the previous games) and a couple of other classic Forgotten Realms games are coming to console in the fall, which is good news for those of us who prefer console gaming to PC. I'm looking forward to it, but man, this is gonna be an expensive fall with regards to games...

So first companions (origin stories just like DOS2) except Lae'Zel they all look very human whhyyyyy hahaha all of them are beautiful though too soon TM to fancy   The game is practically DOS2 in BG universe XD the beginning is kinda the same, ship --> prisoners --> accident --> island --> companions --> getting rid of the anti source magic collar/mind flyer bug. It's fine but it shows  if this has the same mechanic that DOS2, I'm guessing no more companions unfortunately. edit. CAMPS!!!!!    edit. Astarion said he was seducing a young -male- noble, it could mean anything since he is a vampire spawn but hey edit. I understand why people are kinda meh about it, it's just DOS3 with Baldur's Gate as name, both franchises should differentiate from each other, and I guess the turn based system is a turn off to old BG fans. I said it a lot in the DOS2 thread, I'm not a fan of turn based combat lol but hey, another RPG and I hope there is gay. The vampire stereotypically screams queer to me. I hope is all bi and everyone is happy. |

YEeeeeah im really hoping theres more companions. That isnt enough imo. ALSO RACE SELECTION IS GREAT THOUGH, ASMODEUS TIEFLING HERE I COMEEEE.
Game looks great. It def looks like it can be a dos3 lol but whatever, more rpgs the better.
Camps seem to have companion interaction which is awesome.

OMG. Tiefling is always great, but being able to make a Gith PC!?  As if this game wasn't an insta buy before. Also my PC will inevitably be super easy prey for that demon character if he's evil.  |
