I've said it a few times, I feel like it's not that I'm disappointed in BioWare for this - BioWare gonna BioWare, this is honestly not unexpected on their part.
But what I keep coming back to, the part that hurts the most, is that... No one seems to CARE. That the big fan reaction to this news was one massive shrug, before going back and going 'oooooh' over the shiny new graphics. THAT is what kills me. Despite how this is homophobic and should get some kind of outcry... What we've had are a handful of us angry queers grumbling and getting shouted down about how... I don't know, we're ruining peoples fun or something by pointing out that we're being excluded.
Like... So much for community, huh?
Unfortunately, this is just the general attitude of the sci fi community ( creators and consumers). I'm a big fan of sci Fi but I kinda stopped hoping for having any normal or good mlm rep there,in my lifetime at least 😂. It mainly caters to men, that's why straight people and occasional wlw is all we get. I love the expanse for example, but for it's supposed diversity there are only straight main romances and a bit of wlw and poly, mlm is there but like 0.00000001 % lol just for a tick i guess The only current main m/m I can think of is Stamets/Culper in Star Trek Discovery |

I was (briefly) considering getting one myself, but decided not to. I would've chosen the one from the romance scene. I just wish it was using the same one as the female Shepard version with Shepard's hand on Kaidan's face, that would've been more worth the money to me. Which one did you go for? |

I'm still debating on which one to get: Shepard Kaidan (Duo), Kaidan Alenko, Shepard Kaidan (Duo) 2 or Shepard and Kaidan. The other thing i have to keep in mind is how much I wanna spend. To get just one autograph or two? This hard decision is killing me  |

If I do, it might end up being either the 'Kaidan Alenko' or 'Shepard and Kaidan' one (which is within my budget + shipping).

And even if i got one of the other ones, it'd cost approximately 90-ish dollars already including the 30$ shipping (a little less in euros for me, I believe) with the difference of it being just one autograph - which, after thinking about this for a while, made me reconsider getting it alltogether. Spending $90 on a single autograph isn't worth it for it despite loving the heck out of that videogame character :\ |
