New Mass Effect Game Next

Guys mrjack  pointed out to me that the hashtag is too similar to MAGA and now I cannot unsee it 💀💀💀💀 thanks to my dumb brain that think first in spanish  should we change it? Maybe without the again? I did a couple of #MakeMassEffectGayer at first but we would lose all the progress, I feel so stupid   even Lito Perezito is tweeting that hashtag now, I dont know

I’m with Lee - why not take away that abbreviation away from them? It’s not like they deserve it.

Irs pretty common for non MAGA people to use some form of make something something again in the US there were plenty of times various democratic candidates literally would tweak maga iinto like “ make America think hard again!” So as long as there’s no red hats and stuff I think most of us are used to it.

I stand by "...and?" Because they HAVE the files, modders have MADE it work with just the in-game assets, so that proves that all that's needed is implementing it in the remaster. So it's the kind of difference that makes no difference.

After all, it's STILL a legitimate grievance that ME1 shipped with no M/M romance, but it DID have a F/F romance - it's easy to assume from that arrangement that the F/F content only existed in order to fetishize lesbians for straight men, which... Y'know, that's an issue all its own, rather similar to the fact that the camera lingers lovingly on Miranda's ass, an issue that they ARE correcting. So why not correct THIS issue as well?

Of course only Mr. Asari Wankers himself would come up with something that is entirely dismissive of the issue at hand. This man is for sure gonna be the ruin of this franchise and I bet he's gonna have some sort of say in Mass Effect 5 


Also the way he phrased this part here not only does it sound sketchy but also borderline gross as if they did LGBT rep (especially in ME1 with FemShep/Liara and in ME3 with MShep/Kaidan) almost on accident...

I've tried to type this post three times now, cause I don't know what to say. Over Dramatic:

I don't know why they insist on shooting themselves in the foot like this. All the content for Kaidan's same sex romance in ME1 (and the small bit in ME2) is already there. I've played it, it exists. They could have done so much to mend bridges after the whole Jaal mess by allowing Kaidan to properly be bisexual in the first game and give players a single damn same sex male romance before ME3 but no they're just... doubling down on him being straight in the first two and then suddenly realizing he's bi in the third game where you miss out on using him for quite a while anyway. What the fuck. They could have made up for some of their shitty past decisions and (hur duh male Shepard can't be gay) yet they didn't. Who are they trying to protect? Dude bros generally kill him off anyway, are they that worried straight women will kick off if his bisexuality is included from the start? (Looking at Jaal that's a possibility *sigh*)

By cutting out all the files and unused content (i.e romance lines) they're making the remaster even less replayable because at least in the original trilogy you had those lines on PC at least that could be used for mods. Kaidan's romance is lovely when started from the first game and it pisses me off that players, especially console players, aren't going to get to experience that because Bioware is being stupid at best and homophobic at worst.

I’m just so very tired with all these heterosexual white men at BioWare with these ridiculous over inflated egos that are compensating for their shortcomings elsewhere repeatedly thinking their God’s gift to the company and industry when they repeatedly manage to disappoint EVERYONE.

my hard earned gay dollars ain’t going anywhere near this remaster.

I wouldn’t pay to buy clothes from a brand that pays lip service to the lgbt community by putting a rainbow on a shirt during Pride season and nothing else, I certainly am not going to pay for a game from a company that has shown zero countability for its repeated failures on this matter, and zero genuine desire to improve progressively and morally.

The trailer for the game really says it all with whose money they care about. Which members of the audience they cater to.
