Where in the world would you like to see the next Fallout game based?I'd like it to be set on a different Continent. Much of the Fallout lore focuses on what happened in NA, Russia & China, but I'd love to know what's going on in Europe, Africa, South American or Australia. Failing that, we've had east & west coast US now so maybe more North towards Canada or the central US. What sort of companions and romances would you like to see in the future?I've always felt that most of the companions and romances in Bethesda games were very lacklustre, they tend to focus on quantity over quality, so I'd like more fleshed out romances and companion interactions. What are your favorite factions in the Fallout games?Lyon's Brotherhood of Steel because Sarah Lyon is bae What sort of environments would you like to see in future Fallout games?I think it might be interesting to have a Fallout that was set in a very detailed city and its outskirts.

I do love the idea of a jungle/forest/anything green setting. I think one of the problems is that without long sight lines you ( I) are ( am) more likely to get lost. Hell even in FO4 i get lost going from Bunker Hill to Goodneighbor, and it's like 100 goddamn feet. Still greenery would be amazing and much appreciated. Also, less settlements. I didn't dislike the settlement system in of itself, but with the DLC's there's like 30 of the damn things. 2 or 3 at the most please. I get lost in the cities, too, I'll be honest. lol I always thought it was just me because I'm generally garbage despite loving these games.

London is the most popular suggestion I usually see, but I'd love to see Russia. Of course, they might hesitate because of the Metro games. One in Cape Town or Johannesburg, South Africa, could be awesome. All the safari animal mutants would be so cool.

I want them to go back to NVs gayness..
so having gay in the mechanics.. (the perks in hetero and homo and bi- adding boni and options to seduce people with special new dialogue options..FO4 has restricted that into hetero ness.. F04 had also some realyl fuked up nostalgia for the 50s.. like sgit that was always ironically overplayed and criticized in all games, from 1 to NV it was always clear that the 50s was a horrible time and people like the enclave, who have this nostalgic view ere always shown as deluded..
like.. again, the fucking quest where you get the WMD from eden is "the american dream.." it doesn't get more explicit than that.. tranquility lane was horribly violent..
and now Fo4 makes this out as this nice paradisiac ideal whit people can look back with fond memories and its depicted as nice- w have gay neighbors but are forced to be at least bisexual and so into the domestic life and a loving parent grieving for ther SO
like.. that had always stopped me from buying the game.. I watched it on youtube and this saccharine weird nostalgic shit let me to believe the people who made Fo4 forgot something IMHO intrinsic to the series--- its a celebration of diversity and human spirit.. its shows that the old times were bad and cruel and only the privileged benefitted from it and cant even see those they deem other as truly human..the enclave trying to exterminate all they don't see as pure, for example. The master wanting to make everyone equal and only stopping when he learns that he would condemn everyone to death because super mutants are sterile.. eden wanting to kill all mutants again as a repeat of Fo2s plotline.. and now.. F04 goes back and paints that all straight, loving parents, a gay interracial couple.. lol, sure, in a world that's so fully xenophobic that it breaks my sense of immersion.. pre war was horrible but now its suddenly bliss..maybe that's also a way of indirect criticism by way of letting us play such a privileged person who cant see the horrible oppression that happened in pre war USa in the fallout universe? but. I don't trust them to be that intelligent tbh.
sry I'm a horrible buzzkill.

It does annoy me that they stick you in a hetero marriage to start. I almost didn't buy the game because of that. I only decided to play when it was revealed they were doing the all bi LIs and we'd get a big variety for m/m. Their choice to do the hetero marriage thing sucks, but it still ends up more enjoyable for me than Andromeda where you don't have to either be bi or headcanon it as a sham marriage, because we actually get decent options and Andromeda fumbled that hard. Being gay in games always ends up being a compromise, it seems. It's never been done very well, tbh. So, Fallout 4 has flaws with it, but I think it does as well as anything else when you weigh out the flaws. Of course, YMMV.

I'm strange, but I actually have gotten to the point where I find the wife story kind of funny. I am smashing the button to make my guy pound that glass - not my waifu!!! Cut to when I get out -grab that ring so I can pawn it- I'll never love another woman again I promise!

It's kind of cute that we both have dead wives. Well, that's a fucked up thing to say. lol But, I just mean, I guess I don't mind playing a bisexual character and I think the similar narratives of the PC and MacCready make for an interesting story. So, it doesn't bother me much. I hope the next game will return the confirmed bachelor perk and let me be gay again, though. I liked getting sexy dialogue with random dude NPCs!

I really want special dialogue options due to perks to be a thing again. I hate that the voiced protag came at the cost of gutting so much of what really worked in the past games. I mean I do like the voice actor though-because that's really important to the romance-but I could have gone for some of the responses being text only-if we got those special options still. -shrug-

I really like perks that open up dialogue in games, generally. In both Fallout and Bioware games. I was annoyed the Nexus perks ME:A did similarly to DA:I's Inquisition perks didn't come with dialogue extensions. But ME:A pretty much failed on every level, so no surprise there. lol In New Vegas I always got the Confirmed Bachelor and Child at Heart perks for the dialogue. On some files I even did make a bi character and got the Lady Killer one, too. Plus, it gives you that damage boost.

The game is so great. (just wish it didn't have so many issues on ps3). Old World Blues though was the best part of the game over all. I laughed so hard at that mess. I will forever think of it fondly!

I wish your PC could romance Arcade, but I guess you can't have everything. lol While I really love FO4 as a game, I thought where it fell down in comparison to past games was the DLC. Some of my favorite parts of past games were the DLC stories, like Old World Blues. The Far Harbor DLC was alright, but nothing else lived up to past DLC campaigns from FO3/New Vegas, for me. They relied too heavily on adding mainly to crafting and new platforms for settlements. In the past I thought they did a really good job with fleshing out new places, stories and characters for their DLC additions, but this time they fell mostly flat, for me.

Fallout 4's dlc wasn't worth the price of admission. I did like Far Harbor and I like parts of Nuka world too (damn sexy tarzan looking bastard). However, everything else was just a waste of money (thankfully I didn't pay but 30 bucks for the season pass though).
