When FNV came in 2010 it's graphics were fine to me (but now only with 4K texture mods and ENB lol) With it's orange-yellow filter it was a nice change from brown-green filter from Oblivion/Fallout 3, it suited The Mojave just fine in my opinion  But I like that FO4 is more neutral/natural when it comes to filters. |

A remake of FNV would be so awesome! It's a great game but i hate the graphic. :'D I wish there would be more choices in fao4. .3. A graphical update would be good, but mostly I just want a stable version of it. Though it seems unlikely since they have it on the ps4 streaming service now. sigh...but I can still hope next gen maybe. or something. ugh. |

I never had a stability Problem with FVN.
Only with FAO3 x___x (or Skyrim, grrrrr)
But I think Arcades Personal Quest is bugged for me. Somehow I can't start it.

Arcade's personal quest triggers by taking him to see the lady the hotel right, and advances as you near the end game. I think. but it could be just the last bit. It's been a while. |

FO3 didn't have any sort of player relationships though, did it? Unless I've just forgotten, I admit I don't have an awesome memory. There were gay couples, such the very Wade & Herren style armourers at Rivet City, for example, and the two ghoul ladies at the sanctuary in the museum. For NV's graphics I admit I did a not-very-authentic engreenification of the Mojave: I like green!  Lol I still remember when I was playing FO3 and I was in that bar at Megaton (forgot the name), one of the sitting guys said something like: ''I'm not one of 'those', so piss off!'', lol it was so mean and made me feel awkward as hell especially when I was just coming by near him and that's it, so yeah I felt bad about it, in a fu**ing video game, thanks Todd lol |

Fallout 4 Update 1.10.75.0 (1.10.76.0 on PS4) NEW FEATURES Support for Pets (there was also some bug fixes) I'm curious to know what that support for pets thing means. I'm guessing there will be some creation club pets soon. Which will be neat-if not a bit frustrating. <.< >.> Will I finally cave for Creation Club purchasing? Also, there's a free gunners theme weapon skin set available right now on the Creation club.  |

I was wondering if it might mean having e.g. Dogmeat and a companion at the same time? Apparently that was the original intent but it never transpired for some reason.

So they finally released the new pet stuff in fallout 4. You can make dogmeat into different breeds of dogs. You get a few options for free right now, but the rest are 200 points (2 dollars I think) each. Not something I'd drop money on, but the pitbull is adorable!
Edit: oh there's a dalmatian too, too cute!

I think after I finish Pillars Of Eternity 2 I'm going to take a break from RPGs and just play Fallout 4.
I tested out the music "mod" and was able to change one of the songs I least liked. I wasn't sure it would work so I just used a random 80s song from "Night Of The Comet" and was pretty surprised when I heard it play! The song reminds me of Fallout 4 (and Danse) so I'm probably going to just leave it in for now.
I'm going to try and decide what other songs I least like so I can replace them with a couple of songs by Doris Day.
One of her songs, "Tic Tic Tic", surprisingly fits the irradiated setting quite well!
I've already added "Let's Go Sunning" and "I'm Tickled Pink" from Fallout 3 so I will enjoy hearing those again as well.

So I'm preparing for my first pc run of Fallout New Vegas-and I'm now remembering just how painful the companion quests are. I may not even try to do most of them. I really want to do Boone's though, since I really like him for whatever reason. So maybe I should just write down his "triggers" or something. oy...if only there were quest markers for those quests. or at least hints-really damn anything! lol! I'm grateful that Arcade's quest will simply trigger by getting near the end with Yes man even if I mess up elsewhere though.  |

Don't like how it was handled, but companions were a major step up from Fallout 3 at least! I''m always alone in that game! |

Still like you said they are much more interesting characters despite their quests. I think in 3 I only ever used Fawkes he's quite a good companion and basically, invincible-but the downside is companions killing things takes potential xp away from you. So that's a bummer.  I'm glad that's not the case in New Vegas. |

Progress update: I have 4/5 of the points I need to complete Boone's quest. I have the legion hating me though...which is bad since they send out death squads. but oh well. I'll be in vegas before too long anyway and I'll get a reset for that. NCR likes me (accepted) which is good. I want to keep good rep with them even if they won't be my faction of choice. Hmmm...I completed come fly with me. I really adore that main quest! Up next I have to go to Boulder city. That's where I meet the great khans that helped Benny.  |

Fallout 76 just confirmed on that Bethesda stream, it has Vault 76 in it hence the name.

as newcomer to this franchise I dont know what's happening but I'm glad is a new game  it seems the game has the same FO4 graphics, so maybe a spin-off???? edit. now I want to know about companions  asap |
