Wow, I never knew he looked so sexy in the Warden armour. I always make him King, because Anora is the worst. I'm still impressed with how good he looked in DA:I. To me- different than in DA:O and DA2, but I can still see huge resemblance.

I swear, Alistair being straight is the only thing that kept Origins from being perfect.

I swear, Alistair being straight is the only thing that kept Origins from being perfect. This, this, this!!! There is absolutely no reason he couldn't have been bisexual and it would have made a much more interesting/emotional story if he had been available to both wardens instead of Zevran. A few tweaks to dialogue here and there and his romance would have been just as perfect for a male warden. I always play with mods now and it makes it feel like a much more complete experience being able to romance him as a male.

I played with mods the first time with DAO and it's incredibly great how gender neutral the romance is, except some words. It's a pity really. Now there are mods that change those words and the romance is perfect The drama in Landsmeet works great as gay warden too, we cant bear children!! Well, no fuck Sherlock So many gay analogies there. SighThe ship is long sailed. Even though I cant get a happy ending, at least these ten years Alistair has remained single mourning my warden, it's something. I hope the next KISA is for us

Yes, I played with the mod that fixed the gender stuff and it all flows so naturally and I was so immersed! It's the same with the Cullen romance. The entire thing was gender neutral excluding one small scene in Trespasser. I feel the same way. After three games of the KISA types being exclusive straight romances (even in the game where everyone is bisexual, ugh...) I am hoping that the next KISA is exclusively a gay option and is very open about his attraction to other men. I wouldn't even mind a scene/banter where he turns down a woman and openly states he only likes men. No more hidden gays, please! It would definitely be nice for my romance choice to be canon for once! I guess the one bright side is that not being able to romance Alistair on consoles allowed me to form a wonderful friendship with him while experiencing the other romances. When I finally had the chance to try out the romance myself, I really enjoyed writing about his relationship with my Cousland. I ended the game married to him.

I started some months ago a playthrough to romance Sir Gilmore with that mod... and today I just opened my game again and I just meet Alistair ... M-MUST RESI-RESIST TH-THE TEMP-TAION... Seriously it's hurtful to see my fav Bioware guy without being able to romance him T_T anyway, I think I should go to Eder and living in the illusion of him being bisexual for now.

Oh Bioware, how you've hurt me. The Alistair and Garrus shaped holes in my heart don't need the company of an Eder shaped hole. Ima praying.

Davrin's boobsI know the feeling! I love both Alistair and Ser Gilmore so much that I can't choose between them! I was in tears at the end of both games where I romanced each of them. They made me so happy. It hurts that one is straight in the canon and the other doesn't exist past the intro. My favorite BioWare husbands and I can't even really have them... We NEED Eder to be bisexual. I can't handle another rejection from a man I've fallen for...

It's fully voiced (kinda amateur I think) but with their own romance route and all! Yeah, I was talking something like that with my sister yesterday, how neither of them are official options for male players, this reality sucks. Regarding the canon, my Amell died for his beloved Alistair and The Keep can lick my ass Part of me wants Alistair to remain single forever XD but 10 years Alistair being single is good for my headcanon already Eder! I'm on this fight with all of you guys! We are going to toast that day!

Alistair was my first BioWare Romance. He will always be my bae! I'm sad that I have to play as a female warden every time, but without a voice actor (other then battle grunts) it at least isn't as bad as it would have been with a voice actor. I am seeing now that's a huge part of why it's so much easier to do the Alistair romance like that, and it is so hard to do so for other lovers. Cullen I manage too though....so I don't know. I guess I just have to really be into a guy to go that far. Still DA4 better not do that to us again, or I won't buy it. I'm sick of BioWare's shit to be honest.

The ridiculous thing about vanilla Origins only letting female Wardens romance him is... Alistair is practically a checklist of a 'coming out' narrative. He's young and sheltered, from an oppressively religious background, has serious family pressure to conform, has never been in a relationship (or at least a serious one)... Literally, the only thing missing from this is a male Warden being able to pull him out of the closet.
I may never play Origins on the console again after installing that mod...

I may never play Origins on the console again after installing that mod... some of the stuff I read is that it was for lack of resources, but then again it's a pretty stupid thing to do leave us without the most important LI in DAO (same with Morrigan, they even thought about the dark ritual with blood magic for female wardens) also, David Gaider totally supports bisexual Alistair

...Semi-Confirmed canon bisexual Alistair? Honestly while it may never be recognized officially at this point, it does make me a bit happy to see that he supported bisexual Alistair. I'm also never going back to consoles for Dragon Age just because it doesn't feel like a complete experience anymore without gay Alistair AND Ser Gilmore. They've become such a key part of the experience for me and I can't ever leave them! Seriously hoping we get our gay KISA in the next game...I'll settle for canon bi but it wouldn't be the same... Somewhat on topic...I was playing one of the "Choice Of" games yesterday and there was a gay romance option that was just screaming "Alistair"!!! It made me miss him so much, but it was nice to have a gay romance with an "Alistair" character! I really need to play origins again sometime soon...
