He is fine with mods, but at the same time acts like Zevran was the better choice-it doesn't make any sense at all. Zevran is not nearly as good a romance as Alistair. fucking Gaider.

...Semi-Confirmed canon bisexual Alistair? Honestly while it may never be recognized officially at this point, it does make me a bit happy to see that he supported bisexual Alistair. it was pretty great when I found this in the official Bioware social site, when I did the mod I seriously felt bad for change his sexuality, and I still headcanon my love story with him like Xena and Gabrielle kind of story, very fitting imo I was so obsessed with Alistair late last year when I played DAO first time, holy crap ... what character? :3 not familiar with those kind of games XD

Xena and Gabrielle are the greatest! I'll never forget my first experience with Origins. I was so in love with Alistair but had to settle for Zevran because I was on PS3....not knowing my PC could run the game! It was like Snow White's "Someday My Prince Will Come", which I constantly listened to at the time and now reminds me of my (unrequited at the time) love for Alistair. The "Choice Of" games are interactive novels with different genres and they usually have a lot of LGBT content/romances. I actually based my favorite Warden on their "Pendragon Rising" game, which allowed me to play as a gay King Arthur. The one with the Alistair character is a newer game called "Lost In The Pages".

I think Gaider thinks of Zevran as the better choice in the sense that HE'D choose Zevran - considering that, under Gaider, Dragon Age has had at least one M/M option who falls under the label of bad boy in every game (and the fact that I've said before that I get the impression Gaider pulled out Zevran's character notes, scribbled out Zevran's name, race, country of origin, and class and wrote in 'Dorian,' 'human,' 'Tevinter,' and 'mage' respectively), I think it's just that Gaider seems to prefer the bad boys.

I listen Disney songs too when I'm in I want a prince mood too it would have been a dream Alistair or Cullen for us, the first one for lack of resources and the other for time restraints, seriously sucks to be gay sometimes... Eder is our only hope thank you, I will check those visual novels out, I only play furry VNs

It's no problem with loving bad/complicated boys, the problem is if there's no another type because that not makes sense(TM)... Alistair, Cullen or Cassandra type bi/gay romances. I liked Zevran, Fenris and Bull romance, Anders romance is my favorite, but I'm not into Dorian romance.
I romanced Alistair with female Warden, and I liked it, but I was sad, that he's not an option to the male warden. Perhaps I will try the mod. (My PC don't really like Origins, crush again, perhaps, because of ser Gilmore mod? I can't play now with my Amell...) I never romanced Cullen (have a Trevelyan, who love him hopelessly). I have the bi-Cullen mod, but I didn't use yet.

I pray that I will have a gaming pc someday. At least good enough to play Mass Effect trilogy and Dragon age inquisition would be awesome too, but that takes a really good pc. argh.

When my dear friend told me that I could romance an elf in a game as man, I was like, damn I'm going to romance Legolas, that's so fucking cool men!!! Then I met Alistair I dont have any problems with dubious bi men in Bioware games, but it's true that it's an overused trope and needs to die already, give us a fucking Disney Prince! Gay as fuck too.

I think after all the years of listening to Zevran talk about Wynne's breats, the magic is just gone. (not that it was really there for me anyway). Alistair is so much more romantic and you can kiss him anywhere. Zevran only kisses you if you fuck him....ugh...uhg..just UGH!!!!

Yes... really annoying, that Zevran flirts always with every woman(!), but he only once kisses the Warden outside the camp (after when we killed Taliesen): So: true, Zevran romance has many fucking annoying moments, but have an arc, what I still love.

I miss my wonderful Grey Warden husband so much!!!! I'm feeling so nostalgic for Dragon Age Origins at the moment and I'm missing all those talks/flirts with Alistair by the campfire as that beautiful song plays in the background.

It is sad that they don't put that much effort into romances usually now. I hope the next Dragon Age has repeatable kisses and a gay kisa finally. I don't know if will buy it otherwise. Just kind of broken by the way things played out with Andromeda.

Just kind of broken by the way things played out with Andromeda. I think part of the blame goes to the voiced protagonist/dialogue wheel. It just isn't the same. I like having a voiced protagonist, but I miss the depth/variety a silent protagonist offered. But yes, it is about time we got a canon gay KISA. Repeatable kisses would be welcome and I'd love a "camp" again, or at least something that offers the same type of atmosphere the camp has. It really felt like they were on a grand adventure and taking the time to rest while they could. I always enjoyed those talks - with everyone. Skyhold and the companion "homes" just weren't the same. That said, I really do need Alistair in my life at the moment. I feel so alone being away from family and everyone I know. I am swamped with two jobs and schoolwork piled on top of that loneliness that I just want to get away from it all and escape to Ferelden with Alistair. He makes me feel better just thinking back to our time together and all those wonderful stories I wrote about my Arthur Cousland's romance with him. ...I just want to save Ferelden from darkspawn and fall in love all over again with the goofball.

I've been having a rough time myself lately for different reasons but not that different. My family is still semi-nearby but we just don't hang out as much anymore, and I miss a lot of them. I especially miss my cousins that I grew up living next door to. they were like brothers and sisters, and now I'm lucky to see them at holidays. It breaks my heart. I guess I will need some video game therapy soon too.

I mean, Inquisition DID include a repeatable romance cutscene at Skyhold, so at least Dragon Age seems to recognize it as a thing to have.

that the face that Alistair made when Gaider made him straight You can even see right at the end there his face kinda turns blue and purple. You literally cannot contain the bi.

My last run through Origins had some really great moments - there was Rykien Cousland and Alistair simultaneously taking down ogres, and then this funny bit where they both got the slo-mo kill on the same ogre, so they ended up overlaid on top of each other. Also an ogre had knocked out Rykien during the endgame and Alistair got a slo-mo kill on it. He's a good boyfriend.
