My last run through Origins had some really great moments - there was Rykien Cousland and Alistair simultaneously taking down ogres, and then this funny bit where they both got the slo-mo kill on the same ogre, so they ended up overlaid on top of each other. Also an ogre had knocked out Rykien during the endgame and Alistair got a slo-mo kill on it. He's a good boyfriend. I wish mages would have slow motion moves too! I mean besides being an arcane warrior fortunately my Warden is one and he switches between the magic staff and the Spellweaver, but I totally headcanon he has both weapon equiped  Playing my canon Warden for fourth time now so I hope I can get cool moments like yours! |

So I saw all the mods and stuff for alistair and that you can fully do it now without gender confusion so im downloading them mods now for the first ever run I do of this game. Must romance the Alistair!!!

I still think that if Alistair had been a proper gay option, he would have been my favorite love interest ever and would be serious competition for Kaidan!
...So yeah I'll forever be bitter that he's not available to men. Origins would have been the perfect game for me if my gay Warden could have been with him in canon.
...But really, have fun! His romance is so sweet and feels very natural even though it's a mod.

My level of pettiness is such that I cant see female warden and Alistair fanarts lmao the warden was my first character and the one that introduced me to rpgs, I feel so bad and sad when I think he's dead because I refuse to erase his relationship with Alistair. I played DAO four times, and those four times were with Ryllel Amell, someday I'll make another warden lmao But yeah I know f!warden x Alistair players are not the ones to blame, so sorry in advance is somebody is reading this the wrong way. I just cant stand seeing other people happy lmao I'm an evil bitch I dont care... Hate is my food  edit. Glad we got Jaal though, because he's pretty much Alistair in a fursuit |

It always makes me so happy to see gay Alistair fan art...even though there is not enough! That's going to be the next thing I commission - something with my Arthur Cousland and Alistair. I just need to work out some little things like finalizing my Warden's appearance and what type of scene I'd like done...I'm not very creative and I am already out of ideas after just three of Kelton and Edér, haha.  Also...looking back on this thread... I started some months ago a playthrough to romance Sir Gilmore with that mod... and today I just opened my game again and I just meet Alistair ... M-MUST RESI-RESIST TH-THE TEMP-TAION... Seriously it's hurtful to see my fav Bioware guy without being able to romance him T_T anyway, I think I should go to Eder and living in the illusion of him being bisexual for now. The Alistair and Garrus shaped holes in my heart don't need the company of an Eder shaped hole. Ima praying. We NEED Eder to be bisexual. I can't handle another rejection from a man I've fallen for...  Eder! I'm on this fight with all of you guys! We are going to toast that day! WHY OBSIDIAN?!?! WHY?!?! I mean...there's still a chance he could be bisexual from his own words...but...WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO US?!

It sucks being left out in the cold almost every game. It really leaves a lot of anger that is not easy to place on the devs-when they honestly don't care most of the time and in fact just close their forums cause they are sick of hearing from their fans.

I didn't realize the new bi mod was as extensive as it is. I still sort of see Alistair as a bro rather than a crush at this point, but I might actually get around to romancing him and Morrigan now that the misgendering isn't an issue anymore.
