It is becoming an important plot point. I think we are gonna have a search for spock situation coming.
Also I think what has happened to Ash is far worse than any other character on the show. I do not agree, death is death, at least Ash is alive and there is still hope for him (I mean his true human form, who knows everything is possible in this show) and also what happens with Paul is similar to Ash, plus his lover is dead So yeah but no.. I strongly disagree, I would rather die than go through what he did. But we don't have to agree to enjoy the show.

Nice twist. I am getting rusty because I'm not seeing any of these signs haha. Really enjoying this ark, wondering how it will end.

How are these theories all spot on lol, first Voq/Ash now mirror Lorca.
I did always think it was strange how...militaristic Lorca was at the start, he didn't feel much like Starfleet. Now it makes sense.
...I might've teared up at the scene with Stamets and Culber, with the music and kiss...sigh.

Did I not say in this thread... ...that I was almost certain Lorca was from the mirror universe? It might have been elsewhere... There were so many clues that it seemed pretty much nailed-on to me. Aside from what they showed in this episode, we saw him override the jump co-ordinates once he found out that Stamets was only going to do one more jump and then retire - he knew it might be his last chance to return. Also the weird scars on his back that his ex-lover the Admiral didn't recognise, and how he freaked out and pointed his phaser at her... You may also have noticed how Burnham commented last episode that the light seemed different in this universe - not tough to make the link to why Lorca's eyes were acting up.
I was just wondering what his motivations were in terms of his power-grab. He's clearly ruthless as hell since he's shaped by that universe, but maybe he wanted to reform the Terran Empire at least to some degree. Or maybe he just wants the power himself. If the former, then his time in the Federation certainly showed him that an alternative was possible.

Didn't see anything coming lol. L'Rell doesn't help either. She was like fuck yo couch at first.

o me the most interesting revelation was... That mirror Stamets isn't on mirror Discovery but on board the Emperor's ship/palace/thing, and the linked revelation that mirror Discovery doesn't have a spore drive and the Terrans don't have that tech. For me, that raises two big questions:
I now want to understand how the mirror Discovery switched places, if indeed that was the case. A sub-question here is whether it has some special Terran tech of its own...
Secondly, what the hell was mirror Stamets doing that screwed the mycelial network up so badly? That has to be interesting...
Also, Stamets us the only one who has two versions existing in the same universe. I wonder how that will play out.

So really enjoyed this arc. Had some feels when they were returning to their universe and oops the Klingons won the war, these guys can't catch a break.

Still waiting for the mycelial network, said to be a link between life and death, to be used to bring Hugh back to life...
Seriously, I really expect that there will be some time travel shenanigans in the next two episodes to send Discovery back in time, because if so much of the Federation has fallen to the Klingons, SOMEONE has to have mentioned a Klingon occupation in the decade preceding TOS...

At this point they can travel through space-time and to other universes so yea maybe they will create a paradox and that is why the technology doesn't exist in the other Star Treks.
