So... I'd be fine if that happens. This network is basically the force on steroids at this point

I mean, we did have Tilly referring to the mycelial network as something of a bridge or such between life and death, and we had Hugh in the network as well... I'm inclined to go with this idea, especially because it not just brings Hugh back to life, it also promises a prominent storyline for him next season as he goes over the effects of resurrection - is he supposed to be here, that sort of thing.
And I know that one of the show's writers, Kristen Beyer has experience with that - it was the subject of an arc for a major character in her post-finale Voyager novels. So she's cut her teeth on the subject before.

Maybe because she felt Hugh's presence and that brought her happiness, but in a more subconscious way.
Could just be smiling at the current situation of being home, but it's worth considering.

"Who did the casting for your show?" "Ms Sitowitz." "Yeah, that's her."

Another damn good episode. The Klingons are basically like the Zerg after you killed the overmind at this point and I smell genocide around the corner with the emperor taking command.. This is going to get interesting.

This is going to get interesting. I'm not sure how the Admiral expects the crew to believe that this is prime universe Georgiou. Besides Saru and Burnham who know the truth, several of the bridge crew served under her on the Shenzhou and they know that Mirror Giourgiou exists...

There's no point trying to supress this knowledge since everyone on Discovery went to the mirror universe. Don't tell people outside the Discovery sure, but this is weird.

I'd been quite enjoying the Star Trek thread on cBSN or whatever we're calling it these days, but it's turned into another "they screwed with canon"-fest. Yawn.

So... It's just like I said before, Ash is alive and fine, but my gay mate is not.. Such a shame really, first (and only?) gay couple in the Star Trek universe and such cruel ''fate''. I'm not surprised really, but still.. I'm still looking forward to the last episode this season!

I'm still convinced that green spark that they pointedly focused on as it landed on Tilly is Hugh, and he'll somehow be brought back for the finale.

As we approach the end of the season, the thought occurs to me that there's nothing about their characters that necessitates Ash and Lorca having American accents. I mean, they do a good job to my ear, but both actors are British. Why fake it? I get it when Brits play roles in dramas set in the US, but this is Trek.
