I wish there was more Suvi in the game. Her romance is so sweet, but it seemed really short. Maybe I'm just greedy.  I hope that she, Gil, and Kallo get their stories/roles expanded a bit in any DLC or sequels. We don't get to see nearly enough of them. Yeah, her romance seemed short compared to other LIs in the game. Which is my only gripe. I'm still trying to get around to another playthrough, and debating if I should try a PeeBee romance or just go with Suvi again. Though, I was thinking, if you compare it to Liara's romance in ME1, it actually seems like it has more content. Liara only had a few conversations (which were sometimes awkward and about asari mating practices) plus the love scene. I think BW romances have definitely improved over the years and the bar is a lot higher. |

This verse needs amending: She likes drinking tea, and apple cider And eating Tavarv plants, and Sara Ryder  I adore Suvi, but I just can't with her pink lipgloss. It's sooo blinding. I want to take a tissue to her mouth. If anyone came out with a tone down the makeup mod, they would be my hero. I've got a scientist Ryder waiting in the wings to romance her. Agreed, and to be honest I could do without her blush as well. She'd look better all natural. I'm not exactly sure what they were going for with her design. Is her hair supposed to be dyed (her eyebrows are dark), or is that just a side-effect of having a CC face? And the ME:A team sucks at makeup, so... Anyway, I made this in an attempt to subdue her lipstick. I wasn't adept enough to remove it completely. Thoughts? One of the artists on tumblr that I really like did a cute Suvi/Ryder piece.   SourceThis is cute but I have to nitpick that her eyes are in fact bright blue (see above), not green as you'd expect from the archetypal Scot. |

Allow me to 1-up you both  Here's the post I made on the BSN when it happened, if you want to see some more hilarity. I'm glad they fixed that scene because there is barely any physical contact in Suvi's romance (cuddling, hugging, etc.) and also strangely enough not much smiling, so it was nice to see both here. You know, I was going to point out that it's a shame Sara's left hand is sort of groping the air (even after a patch that did minor changes in this very scene), but then I looked at your image up close and saw your little "WTF" pointing that exact thing out  Well done. Anyway HANDS  Hands are good. Hands everywhere. Wish we had more touching in Suvi's romance. |

The angle of the kiss ingame was horrible, just the back of Sara's head. And they don't even embrace. Mh, anyway, your avatars are funny! Here's the normal angle for reference: My filename is "NotAsGoodAsCullen" because the angle reminded me of his repeatable kiss.  This one is longer, even. Yes, the first kiss, what should have been a Big Damn Kiss is on the level of one you can initiate with Cullen for fun whenever you want  It has nothing on his first kiss scene, sadly. So I was expecting more. I actually wrote a huge rant about it in the Romance Thread (I actually found the post, wow) when I got to that moment, was quite salty because compared to other kisses in ME:A or DA:I (or even earlier games) it just isn't up to par. And I'm actually a bit surprised to see that their lips actually touch with flycam because I assumed they used that angle to hide the fact that they didn't. Almost all of the kisses in Suvi's and what I've seen of Gil's romance avoid showing the lips, oddly, since, you know, that's what kissing is. My current avatar is really the only one that does and is the most passionate. More importantly, it's short, like you said, and therefore lacking passion. I described it as a "Honey I'm going to get groceries, see you in an hour!" kiss before, lol. The first kiss should be better than that! Okay, sorry, I'm ranting again. About your spoilered shots: I still find it strange how depending on the lighting, Suvi can look 20-something or 40-something. But that Building Blocks of Life In Heleus display looks amazing on PC! Sharper. And there are some nice angles there you don't get to see ingame. |

I asked about music, SUCH BORING. But it's phrased marginally more interestingly than DERPY DOO DO YOU LIKE MUSIC maybe. I've read a couple of the interviews she's done that she's linked to, so there's a bunch of standard questions I wouldn't ask. And in a Q+A format for public consumption, like, what is there to ask a voice actress? Oh well, it's nice that she's so good about connecting with fans. I'm sure at this point she wouldn't be able to answer if there's definitely any more Suvi on the way, so you'd probably get some standard "I'd love to voice more Suvi!" kind of thing. But yeah, it's an email, and you can request anonymity. I have an idea, here...you can sing this song for her like a modern day bard: (to the tune of that Sera tavern song in DA Inquisition) ahem *warms up* Suvi was never a demonstrative lez She refused to onscreen sex you But she knew theeeeee ways of licking rocks Scott, let's keep it professional Aw, no, it's not boring. Hopefully, that type of female character will be straight or unromanceable, so we at least can talk about our gay/bi faves in peace.  |
