I just had tea time with Suvi.  I really love her voice. I am Scottish, why can't I have an accent that cool?!?! I know, it's like listening to... something nice. I'm amazing at poetry. You're Scottish? Cooooool. What do you sound like, then? Also I wish I had an accent that cool so I'm with you. I have a sound clip available for those who wish to dig it out. I'll pm you the link I guess.  I don't have much of accent-I should have a deep southern one I guess, but I sort of rebelled against it. I still say Yall though. |

Oh, and yesterday I was messing with some new CC options and loaded a save before Suvi's culmination scene because the lighting is great in that scene, and to see if turning sound effects off cut out the Vortex music. You know, for science! No other reason  Anyway, I had to talk to her about the origin of the angara before triggering that "quest", and since it was a throwaway save I figured I'd see what the not-so-nice response to her about faith sounded like (the "Yes, I think you're deluding yourself" one). Much to my surprise, I got a different line in her culmination scene after that! Instead of saying  she says 
Just thought it was pretty cool that apparently there are in fact subtle differences in things depending on how you roleplay. I took the sort of middle route about her faith, but I'd imagine she'd say the "We just click" line as well if you said you shared her beliefs as opposed to a third one. I also love that she said that because it pulls at my hopeless romantic heartstrings, that the most important thing is that they love each other even if they disagree sometimes   I took a similar stance about her faith and got the "argue and still be okay" line. I always wondered what choices you have to make to get the "just click" route. But, I think I prefer the argue route more. I think it adds an extra dimension to their relationship that makes it really sweet. |

This verse needs amending: She likes drinking tea, and apple cider And eating Tavarv plants, and Sara Ryder  I adore Suvi, but I just can't with her pink lipgloss. It's sooo blinding. I want to take a tissue to her mouth. If anyone came out with a tone down the makeup mod, they would be my hero. I've got a scientist Ryder waiting in the wings to romance her. Agreed, and to be honest I could do without her blush as well. She'd look better all natural. I'm not exactly sure what they were going for with her design. Is her hair supposed to be dyed (her eyebrows are dark), or is that just a side-effect of having a CC face? And the ME:A team sucks at makeup, so... Anyway, I made this in an attempt to subdue her lipstick. I wasn't adept enough to remove it completely. Thoughts? One of the artists on tumblr that I really like did a cute Suvi/Ryder piece.  SourceThis is cute but I have to nitpick that her eyes are in fact bright blue (see above), not green as you'd expect from the archetypal Scot. I think that fixes her a ton, but if you could tone down the gloss even one step more it would be a major improvement! |

I kept flip-flopping on my first playthrough on which option I should take for that reason even before knowing it would get referenced later. Maybe next playthrough I'll do that route! But then later I took the "doesn't rule it out" option. I felt like the combination of the two was the closest I could get to not believing myself, but, having respect for someone who does. And yeah, I'm not opposed to sugary sweet perfect romances either, but I appreciate when there is more to the dynamic between the characters. |

I have a bit of free time and materials so I'm making a few MEA shirts for myself, and I want to include some Suvi stuff. it's strange that I read this right now since I was actually just thinking of making one of those character quote t-shirt/poster thingies. Didn't save them all though. I applaud your efforts to find the quote you were looking for, though! Sounds like something I would do have done. Thanks, I'll try to see what I can do this weekend!

I had a gag-plan to romance Suvi as Suvi (and get screenshots of "her" in armour at the same time), like when I made my Hawke identical to my Inquisitor, but I couldn't get it to work - her hair colour isn't available, for one thing. Which is lame, because it's barely red and the current "red" selection sucks. Anyway, I don't know if she's based on preset 9, but her overall facial structure is similar to my character with preset 5. I'd be thrilled if you managed to at least mostly recreate her! Let me know if you do. |

That is hilariously weird! I'm saving those, for science. Too bad I can't use mods, even hair colour mods would be amazing since for some reason ME:A has a pretty poor selection. Why didn't they just give us a colour-wheel if you can dye your hair any colour?! Ah, right, the makeup. That was the other reason I sort of gave up. Tried to get the right shade of pink lipstick and failed. But I'm sure you could get it! Poor Varric indeed, it breaks my heart to see him like that... but I did leave her in the Fade. Based on Flemeth's words (about leaping into the abyss and the quest being Here Lies The Abyss), I headcanon that she's alive. I may have, as usual, gone a bit overboard and ended up using too many quotes/should have used a bigger background. Oh well! It was actually a fair bit of work, organizing those layers, adding clipart, and getting a good outline of her (for my amateur self). You should pat yourself on the back, too, you encouraged me to actually do it Not going to lie, it actually did take me a while to do, yes, but it was fun! What I lack in experience editing pictures I make up for in determination and, as you said, passion, ha. I'm glad my passion is something that's appreciated around these parts rather than something people see and walk away slowly from Thanks, I hoped they'd all be legible and spread out enough. I also hoped that if it wasn't immediately obvious, the choice of colours would subconsciously remind people of Suvi and that they'd read the quotes in her voice.
