Also, I just have to say I still love Suvi as a character, :nohetro: I really wish her romance would have been a bit more...well more. Specially with a sex scene-since it would upset a certain creepy person that should not get his way like...ever. Thanks, Lee. Nice to see you here Goes without saying, but I really wish she had more content as well. Some sort of sex scene would have been nice, too - doesn't have to be explicit, I liked Cullen's. But I'm not an asexual person so it would have been cool to see or at least hear some physical attraction happening in the romance. The intellectual attraction was a breath of fresh air and very relatable, but... why not both? They could have a DLC where it's a musical reenactment of the game's events gone wrong. And they get invaded by Kett or something. But yeah, I hope the next Bioware lesbian has a sex scene because of that. Then again, Merrill's sex scene didn't stop him from latching onto Merrill. Hopefully, that type of female character will be straight or unromanceable, so we at least can talk about our gay/bi faves in peace. I want the next Asexual/sexually ambiguous character to be straight. Cause it just feels now like they leave the gay characters sexless to make conservative fans more comfortable-way more then actually representing the actual sexuality. I mean not once have they really ever talked about not liking or not being interested in sex. (other then Sebastian-and that guy is just a shit character all around for so many reasons) I agree, it would be cool to see an actual, explicitly asexual character, and it would be nice if they were straight because of what you said. To make it even more frustrating, those stupid conservative fans probably won't care if the gay romances have sex scenes or not, I mean, not like they'll be playing them. And a lot of them (casuals) won't even know if they do. It's pointless to tone-down the gay paths because of that. Does Suvi know goofy science songs? If she knew the element song it would be a nice tribute to the original trilogy...
This is exactly what I thought of, high five! Hearing that in a Scottish accent... :

Don't forget the "THEY ADDED THE SEXSCENE JUST FOR THE STRAIGHT MEN!!"
I think every LI deserves a sexscene + an alternate non-sex Option. Like Coras Romance.

I mean-I want to live in a world where they would actual hire outside help to make sure the romance scene for m/m was done right-not just to animate Cora's ass. Bioware:

I barely even go on actual bsn anymore because I've been spoiled by the lack of potato here. It ruins everything it touches. Also I'm pretty sure being ace/demi doesn't mean you have to have this violent repulsion to other people enjoying sex or a compulsion to to force your preferred narrative on anyone who is talking about something that doesn't align with how you see things. That just sounds like being fucked up to me regardless of your sexuality.

To the tune of "Row Your Boat."
I love DNA, made of nucleotides Sugar phosphate and a base bonded down one side Adenine and thiamine make a lovely pair Cytosine without guanine would feel rather bare!
People, no matter what their sexualities, are different and have different preferences in their romantic fictions. Suvi is part of my wide harem of space-best-friendos. Because she is geeky and drinks tea. Tea is very important, and so is looking at rocks. I also admire her devotion to finding local food she can eat. I can respect that.

That just sounds like being fucked up to me regardless of your sexuality. I agree, it's a lot better here for that reason and more. Suvi thread was also slow there anyway. Spoilered to not derail: No, you're right, but Potato isn't actually Ace, and I'm not even sure he's demi. He just vehemently disapproves of sex before/outside of marriage. It's a simple as that. It's very self-righteous, to say the least. Luckily, thanks to a message from Ian, he now thinks all of ME:A's romances are not ambiguous, but sexual (either explicit or implicit). So hopefully he'll go away now.
And I'm not ace so I could be wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of them were fairly indifferent to sex happening. Which is not Potato.

You're Scottish? Cooooool. What do you sound like, then? Also I wish I had an accent that cool so I'm with you. Does Suvi know goofy science songs? Hmm... I love weird, geeky people. She talks to her datapad and puts her (magnetic) mug down "for a second" sideways. On a wall. Before it's empty. She licks rocks and tries desperately to eat something in Heleus* like you said. She says "Excuse my Martian" before cursing and gets so focused on something she doesn't notice people coming up behind her. She's an absolute dork and it's amazing. I like to imagine that she and Sara do lots of weird, geeky, dorky things together. And that they'd look cheesy and ridiculous to anyone else but really they just get each other. *Luckily, Suvi does eventually manage to eat something she encounters in Heleus See signature.

Well, Maker bless Ian for crushing Potato's hopes and dreams. He is one of the most obnoxious human beings I've ever had the misfortune of running into and literally every trouble I've ever run into with a mod on either version of BSN was due to me needling him.

BansheeOwnage, does this link work? Like someone else mentioned, I first heard this in Tiny Toons, ha. Only recently have I started listening to the rest of They Might Be Giants' music. Good band. They did a lot of kids music, but also other music I was unaware of

Oh, and yesterday I was messing with some new CC options and loaded a save before Suvi's culmination scene because the lighting is great in that scene, and to see if turning sound effects off cut out the Vortex music. You know, for science! No other reason Anyway, I had to talk to her about the origin of the angara before triggering that "quest", and since it was a throwaway save I figured I'd see what the not-so-nice response to her about faith sounded like (the "Yes, I think you're deluding yourself" one). Much to my surprise, I got a different line in her culmination scene after that! Instead of saying she says
Just thought it was pretty cool that apparently there are in fact subtle differences in things depending on how you roleplay. I took the sort of middle route about her faith, but I'd imagine she'd say the "We just click" line as well if you said you shared her beliefs as opposed to a third one. I also love that she said that because it pulls at my hopeless romantic heartstrings, that the most important thing is that they love each other even if they disagree sometimes
