kalasaurus , gayhawke have you seen this? I worry Fallen Kingdom refers to some hidden society of dino/human hybrids that gets wrecked by a T-Rex maybe some sort of rich island resort gets overrun??? like the movie end up being something like sharktopus with people lounging about on the beach and they get eaten by a dino out of nowhere I would watch that. 90 minutes of T-Rexes and Raptors murdering smug rich people.

Well Wonder Woman did it, domestic box office wise, despite a lower opening, it had strong legs and it will become the highest Current Universe DC movie box office domestically with over 330 million.

Word of mouth and positive reviews seemed to really help it. Instead of having the drop off after opening weekend that most DC films have, people just kept going to it. Im hoping this means DC will pivot a bit and stop making their films feel so dark and hopeless.

It's so shocking that if you don't make garbage, people will actually want to watch it.

So Spiderman: Homecoming was pretty damn legit. Tell me - will I have to sit through watching Uncle Ben die again? because I'm sick of that. I dont need to see him & the Waynes die in every film.

We all know why Batman is Batman, no need to cover the same ground over and over.

The climax and 3rd act is pretty intense and satisfying to end the movie with. Spider Man is back for good this time.

I really liked Dylan O'Brien when I first saw him in Teen Wolf, and several years after. Now less and less. The "macho/real man/blabla" hollywood machine seems to be determined to make him as unappealing to me as possible. And his "light speed journey to machismo"tm reminds me of Colton Haynes and his collision with this nonsense. I did like him in Maze Runner though. Oh well.

Oh well. he does NOT suit facial hair. especially dirty looking redneck facial hair like he has in this movie

Watched some of the film trailers to come out of Comic Con.
Justice League looks like it'll be only worth it for Wonder Woman and Aquaman. Batflick looks so sad to be doing the role again, Flash looks very annoying and Cyborg CGI body looks like crap. The original Borg looked better.
Thor looks like it could be the greatest Marvel film yet. And even if it is not, you can't go wrong with Cate Blanchett.
Also did anyone else hear that the standalone Flash film will be Flashpoint? Not sure how I feel about film studios using hackney comic book alternative universe crap to reboot their film franchise. I suppose it is a way to say 'yes, this was terrible, time for a do over'
