I just found out that one of my favorite games from back in the day (Harvest Moon Friends Of Mineral Town) got a remake and they FINALLY added in same-sex marriage! Now I can marry one of my first video game husbands, Gray, as a man! I had to play the female version of the game (More Friends Of Mineral Town) to marry him back in the day. I know there is also a modded version of the game out there for gay men that I always wanted to try...and I probably still will give it a try sometime... But I'm just so happy that one of the game franchises I played so much as a kid is finally giving us m/m and f/f content! I heard about last year though my curiosity is if they will call it marriage as the same sex is referred to as best friends in the Japanese version I know every thing else is the same including having a baby is possible but I want it to take its proper title of marriage I read that what the relationship is called will vary by region of release-but I haven't found a source for it-just a thing someone said on a message board. The game looks interesting. Then again-I never got around to making a full play-through of stardew valley-so Maybe I shouldn't try it. -shrug-

The new Story Of Seasons Friends Of Mineral Town trailer is out! They didn't shy away from showing LGBT content and I got a peek at Gray's gay marriage scene and he said "I love you". ....Why can't BioWare ever do something loke this instead of hiding their gay content?

Just found a game called 'My Time At Portia' all the possible love interests in the game are bisexual and if memory serves me correctly there are nine bachelorettes and seventeen bachelors. Though like six of them are a pallet swap of the same character design.
I'm not sure the content of the romance in the game yet as I only started playing yesterday, just thought I'd give it a mention here.

Small update on 'My Time At Portia' while I haven't delved too deep into the friend or romance system yet I have found a s/s crush already. There's a character named Antoine who has a crush on the town Dr saying things like the Dr is the ideal man and his heart flutters every time he thinks of him. Even saw a little cutscene where he was trying to prolong his stay at the Drs to spend more time with his crush.
No idea if there is anymore content like that or if there is a rival romance system where you could set the two up but thought it be worth a mention.

huldradancer seeing you talking about playing this game, plus finding out it's on the game pass (which I just cashed in my free month and picked up a second free month along with it), made me decide to give this a go. I just installed it and started. I already feel far more into this than I ever was with stardew valley. I may have to buy this eventually. (or just resubscribe to game pass in the future when I get the itch I guess)

Update. While I'm hopelessly addicted to "My Time at Portia", I also really am meh about it. I feel like it has some kind of hold on me that I can't shake, but there are times when I feel like it's so much of a grind that I want to pull my hair out.

No issues for me on console so far. Other than the grind I mentioned before. It's not so bad at the moment though, since I have much better setup now. (crafting related ramble) Crafting is so easy with the factory. (though to be fair it was annoying to adjust to how it works!) Really wish the artisan skill applied to things built in the factory though. Still...at least I can build my bits, and then go slap them together on the work table outside of the factory. Though if the item doesn't benefit all that much from the perk, I just go ahead and craft them in there to save myself the headache.

Was looking at a few Winter Wolves games mainly their visual novel/rpgs and noticed something I thought was mildly interesting.
Their game Loren the Amazon Princess, has two straight LIs, two gay and two bi unless you get it's DLC then two more bi options are added
Their other game Cursed Lands (a prequel to Loren) has two gay LIs and four bi
Then there's Season Of the Wolf which has one straight LI and one gay LI.
As far as I'm aware out of those three games SotW is the most recent with a lot of improvements to battle.
Their an Indie Dev so I won't knock them too hard especially since everyone gets the same amount of options in those games (aside Cursed Lands, gay players get more options in that game) I just thought it was semi interesting and wondered if the focus on game play ended up with romances on the back burner.

No, latest one out of those is Cursed Land.

I adopted a baby with Arlo...well...it's there. LOL. The wiki wasn't kidding about it not being all that developed. it's kind of scary how it will randomly float about the room cause it has really wonky pathing. and the fact it'll always be a baby is kind of creepy...but what can you do?

We have a love that will test the times, as long as I keep making him spagetti with hot sauce and Seafood noodles.

Found a game called Monster Prom where there are no gender locks on the characters. Meaning you can romance any of the love interests with any of the player characters. Been playing it a lot and got my bf into the co-op (you can play with up to four people in this date sim). I find it hella fun! Though there is one secret route that makes me feel icky as hell involving an ace character and the player character not taking a hint. Other than that one super uncomfortable route though the game is a lot of fun and there is depth to almost all characters though it may not be apparent at first.

Gonna add on about Monster Prom in the base game you get to pick between a mermaid princess, a demon prince, a werewolf, a ghost, a vampire, and a Gorgon. The DLC adds an Eldritch God and a sentient computer. Along with a lot of other secret endings and what not.

I saw a friend play that one, is quite cute! The werewolf is so dummy but it makes it cuter lol. Don't know if it was mentioned before, but the game Hades has an m/m romance, is on steam and coming to switch soon, I really want to try it and has voice acting:
And if you want to see the romance scene itself, is not a lot but is still nice is there on a male lead protagonist game!

Scottphoto I don't know anything about that game, but that scene was cute so maybe I'll check out the rest of it later!
