This is a thread to share and talk about games where you play as (or at least have the option of playing as) a gay/lesbian/bisexual character.
Share new titles you've encountered, make recommendations (or bitch about them if you think they suck in the not-fun way), or discuss them in depth with other people who played them.
It can be anything from pornographic visual novels to AAA mainstream titles.
BUT!!!
DO NOT POST ANY ACTUAL PORN IN THIS THREAD OR LEE WILL SPANK YOU AND ENJOY IT.
(Also, spoilers in spoiler tags pls.)

The pleasantest surprise for me was Dragon's Dogma. I don't think a whole lot of people know about this game, or they dismiss it as a lame Japanese RPG. Well it's an RPG and it's Japanese, but it's not lame!!! REASONS DRAGON'S DOGMA IS AMAZING: 1. Can play a bi/gay character; there are multiple romances of either gender and no gating. Make sure you play with Japanese voices (with English subs) instead of English voices because the Japanese ones are super sexy and the English ones are a fucking joke.2. Has the best CC ever?? Can play a hulking Amazonian woman or a tiny androgynous lad with lovely hair. Non-natural hair colors, body sliders, height sliders, nine different voices, though most kinda suck, but that's okay... your character never speaks. 3. The combat is fucking awesome. If you care about stuff like that... the combat is fucking awesome. That is all. 4. Nine classes, NINE! You like archery? You can be a strider, a ranger, or a magick archer! A sorcerer or a mage! You get the picture. 5. Insane headfuck storyline, just trust me on this one 6. Pawn system -- you create a pawn along with your main character; you can upload your pawn and s/he/they can go on adventures with other players! You and your friends can rent each other's pawns for free.

I agree with basically everything you said, though I found the romance mechanic too complex. I had to follow a guide online to make sure I didn't lose the weapons shop guy or accidentally end up with something gross like an old man or that annoying little girl.

DIRKJAKE I KNOW YOU VOTED FOR WEREWOLF, SHOW YOURSELF AND ADD TO THE CONVERSATION. Guilty as charge! Games where I can be gay: - Technomancer: I love Andrew romance, but the game is not so polished (not AAA game). And the combat is difficult. - Coming out on Top: Ian is husband material, Brad is more of a friend with benefits - Blackgate: still a WIP, but so far I can bang a werewolf. - Skyrim: not much of a romance content, but has a great open world

Hey, who wants to help me make a visual novel/dating sim where you play as Nocte and try to seduce the dads of all your friends?!

I had to follow a guide online to make sure I didn't lose the weapons shop guy or accidentally end up with something gross like an old man or that annoying little girl. Oh dude I became a super pro at the romance mechanic; never once messed up! Reynard is my usual sweetie but I've also done Ser Max, Valmiro , and the lord guy with the blond hair, I forget his name. Basically, for all the people you visit a lot, flash your weapons at them from time to time until you hear the little sound indicating they're losing affection for you. And give your sweetie lots of gifts, doesn't even matter if it's they're favorite. Talk to them whenever your'e in town. Don't do the Duchess quest; it forces you to sleep with her (or let the Duke kill her if you're a monster) and raise affinity to max. You miss absolutely nothing but some lame loot. As for the little witch girl, just beat the shit out of her every chance you get lmao Same with the merchant girl.

(I'm the one who keeps picking 'tiny chocolate whale' in your polls BTW) This is Coco the Whale, from Nantucket Chocolates. They're my favorite chocolate thing and he's making fun of me. lol Sorry, Radium, wherever you are. I know it's no Toblerone.

OMG that was like the hardest poll choice I've ever made. I voted superhero since I've never gotten to play as a gay super hero, but pokemon trainer would be awesome too. I would want to romance a hot swimmer trainer. There's another attractive trainer type too in the newer games. Might be ace trainner, but I don't know. Either way, I'm ready to gay bang my way through a pokemon game.

I WANNA VOTE FOR LIKE ALL OF THEM I looked, but I don't see a way to change the poll to allow multiple options now, without scrapping it and starting over.

But you can flirt with characters a few times regardless of gender (or have a romantic past with a character regardless of gender in the second one) and one of the games has a gay central character in the cast.

Nintendo would never do it. But if they made a pokemon MMO or something I would be the best, gayest gym leader like no one ever was!
