1. Yes it is. In Madrid Zombie 2 you recreate your character and the decisions you made in the first one.

2. I would say it's long enough to be interesting but not too much to be tiresome. I think the first novel has 8 chapters, and each one has a couple of mini episodes.

Huh! I actually bailed on Enhanced Editions when it came out because the evil options were the only ones in the game at the time. Good to know they added options for good-aligned characters.

Yep. Actually I did some digging and I gotta add a bit more here: Dorn and Hexxat are the only same-sex options in the original base game, while Glint and Schael were added in the expansion pack, Siege of Dragonspear. So if you want to romance either of them, you'll need to buy both the core game and the expansion first. Just a heads up on that.

Also, that poll question is unfair, because I want to be ALL OF THESE THINGS. Seriously, I never want to play a heterosexual PC again...

(In looking for the Sheik image, I ran across the Zelda Wikia. There is all sorts of interesting theorizing about Sheik's gender there. Perhaps the most interesting part of it, for me, is that the original Japanese versions, and official site, tend to use male pronouns and descriptors, whereas the English-language versions use female ones. To me, that lends credence to the idea that Zelda actually transforms into a male. When you consider the Four Lights in Sailor Moon and their magical gender swap, it seems like the Japanese like to play with that idea.)


I haven't played Breath of the Wild, but as far as I can recall from all of the console Zelda games, Link doesn't show a sexuality. There do appear to be female characters have have a crush on him, but he doesn't respond.

Er... I suppose I should also mention that I didn't play the previous game, either, as I just couldn't get into the Wii motion controls. I know he has a female friend in that, but don't know what his relationship is to her.

In any case, while the "rescue the princess" is certainly a heterosexual trope used in entertainment, Link himself doesn't have to be for the player*. There is also a zora prince in BotW that people like shipping him with.

Keep in mind that all of the Link and Zelda incarnations are reincarnations, not descendants. While some players might like the idea, and ship them, their relationship isn't portrayed as romantic. This is a contrast to, say, Peach and Mario, who are portrayed as being sort of a couple.


* My DAO Warden is gay, but doesn't romance anyone, since I have no interest in DAO LIs. Other than very mild flirting with that guy in the Cousland origin, his sexuality is all headcanon for me and not acted out in the game.
