THIIIIIS! A lot of games I've played recently that have a companion roster of more than 4 (Pillars 1, Deadfire, Divinity Original Sin 2 as some examples) all have more male companions than female ones. This isnt something that legit bothers me, but like you said, it'd be nice to see an even spread, especially in a game that is going to feature romances. I was sad when Deadfire missed out on their stretch goal of making one of their most interesting female characters into a full companion (which would of also put the male to female ratio on even ground) and Divinity Sin 2 has four male companions and only two female. Hmm, so yeah, I'll just end my little rant and say Yes! More female companions please! Yeah this definitely. The only "good thing" about this is that gay men for once had more options than straight men but that's only a side effect of straight women as target audience and the all bi route. I find it really really weird that FO4 gave straight dudes only three option for example, and it's a shame Ydwin didnt make it to be full companion (I hope we get dlc female companions!) I'm fairly sure we got an extra romance cause Danse is such a pain in the ass to romance and the only romance that you can lose as a companion completely depending on who you side with. But that's just a guess though. Also yeah cause there are just a lot more male companions. I'm surprised there wasn't an option to romance Deacon for that matter. He's the only human companion that's not an option I think. Though even with that theory and slight imbalance they went and gave us another option in Nuka world...so not sure why there wasn't a female romance in DLC. It is good that at least there is a female fling though for the ladies and gents who love the ladies. But it's so annoying his romance was recorded (part of it) and they ditched it... Still that would be like 6 options for m/m and f/m and 3 for f/f and m/f ... Like you would think Fallout is a game dudebros like then you dont hear too much whining about the gay like in Bioware games, I guess it has to do with the almost non-existence of queer npcs. Mel shamelessly flirts with you though, not hidden the gay away there and he can not be killed which it's great. |

I really do wish there was a direct sequel for once. Also, I'm sad there's only going to be one fallout game this generation. and zero elder scroll games this generation. |

^ There is a Nick Valentine Romance mod (which is great btw), but for PC and Xbox One.. I wanted to romance X6-88 (and Deacon) but ofc the one I actually liked was not a romance option  Yep, this is not Fallout thread lol |
