Well I mean thats not incorrect but if there is a demand for something someone will supply it. I don't deal with mods in general so i would say more people need to make the mods they want to see if its unequal. It's well past meeting demands, it's utterly oversaturated Again its out of my area of expertise so my standard answer would be to learn how to mod and make your own content if no one is going to make it.

It's an extremely unequal balance, contributing to that is pretty dudebro Well I mean thats not incorrect but if there is a demand for something someone will supply it. Yep, many of them uses this argument too Many female players are so tired/annoyed of all those female only mods, gay and bi males too but most players are straight males so they don't care.

That's true, but when somebody releases (like 1 in 3 months compared to 3+ per day for females lol) some sexy/revealing/skimpy outfit for male chars most of them are going on war lol Well sounds like a good time to learn modding and make your own sexy male characters . I did actually!

Compared to them I actually did make versions (of my armor) for both males AND females, I don't need to be attracted to females to respect and support them too

You have to side with the Institute and have them devote resources to giving him an upgrade to his "equipment" then he becomes an option in Fallout 4-2. I really do wish there was a direct sequel for once. Also, I'm sad there's only going to be one fallout game this generation. and zero elder scroll games this generation. I really hope we can see more and romance Nick in future games, he's immortal I cant feel the pain because I'm so new at this but you mean direct sequel with same protag? They would need to bring all romances because I refuse to play as sole survivor in a game without my ghoul bb Without cutscenes Bethesda had it real easy to do romances tbh, I really hope there will be cutscenes on this game and TES6 ... At least hugs and kisses Yeah that would be the dream to get our ss back and with all the companions and some new ones maybe too. It won't happen since they don't do that, but it would be fun! I would love for their to be some hug and kiss animations, but I don't really want specific romance scenes exactly-mainly cause that leads to certain romances getting better content usually...and I hate when that happens. In theory though if they could do it all with equal care to them all sure...but I don't like them odds.

Yes this, I miss in Bethesda's game hugging and kissing animations so much, I know they're bad at animations cuz of ancient engine, but at least give me something not nothing after spending like 1 year with Danse damn it! I'm not asking for sex scenes I have mods for it , but just some basic hugging/kissing with person you're romancing (with repeat option after like one in game hour or something) Looking at you Starfield.. Will you be any different finally?!

I'm not going to criticize straight men kinky mods because I have done the same things with Skyrim lmao Mods are just mods. Problem is the official content in the game, fanservice for all or none. Some people like it, some dont. I do, like me some fanservice we need more male fanservice. #freethedongs

Did they actually said it will be on completely new engine? Or new engine like rebranded Gamebryo engine from Morrowind like in Oblivion, FO3, FNV, Skyrim, FO4 and F76 LOL? I wrote about it on the last page page 2, they gave an interview to a German website about this: they like the engine and will keep it, Fallout 76 has a new renderer, lighting system, and landscape generator, they intend to change more for SF, even more for TESVI. And modding is here to stay. Plus "people don't know what an engine does" as a defense. So yeah, nothing that new. We'll see, if they change it just enough to get rid of the issues I've been having since Oblivion. Again, I don't want to pay full price for Starfield, if main quest scenes (and especially dialogues) skip as much as they did in FO4. And having to redo one mission 6 times, because something clipped though the floor and triggered a cutscene (a timed one, where they shot someone) is peak gamebryo...

posting this for research They are both so hot. Bethesda, please take note! I'm fairly sure we got an extra romance cause Danse is such a pain in the ass to romance and the only romance that you can lose as a companion completely depending on who you side with. But that's just a guess though. Also yeah cause there are just a lot more male companions. I'm surprised there wasn't an option to romance Deacon for that matter. He's the only human companion that's not an option I think. Though even with that theory and slight imbalance they went and gave us another option in Nuka world...so not sure why there wasn't a female romance in DLC. It is good that at least there is a female fling though for the ladies and gents who love the ladies. (not dlc mind you, but Magnolia is a pretty interesting character with a famous voice actor) A probable theory. And with Nuka World, you cannot romance both Preston and Gage (without mods). Either Preston breaks up with you or you have to kill Gage, or both. If I remember correctly, all female romanceable companions do not turn hostile to you or break up with you if you do certain plot decisions. Are dudebros into fallout? Oh you have no idea, all modding sites (just for example) are bloated with 99% of skimpy sexy female mods I think there used to be an option to filter out female or male nudity on Nexus, but I can't seem to find the option with the new layout. Scrolling through them can be annoying at times lol. It's unfortunate that there are so many of skimpy female mods that I would consider them spam at some point, but at least the male mods are quite great! At least hugs and kisses oh yeah I hope so. I think having romance cutscenes is a next logical step for Bethesda romance. They did improve romance from Skyrim to Fallout 4, so I hope they continuing doing that! I think BGS definitely noticed what's going on with Bioware games, and I hope they see the golden opportunity to "cancel" Bioware Yes this, I miss in Bethesda's game hugging and kissing animations so much, I know they're bad at animations cuz of ancient engine, but at least give me something not nothing after spending like 1 year with Danse damn it! I'm not asking for sex scenes I have mods for it , but just some basic hugging/kissing with person you're romancing (with repeat option after like one in game hour or something) Looking at you Starfield.. Will you be any different finally?! Oh yes! Hugging and kissing are always nice. And LoversLab is such a godsent. You know Bethesda could hire those animators to help them animate these crucial scenes

I guess we are gonna have our own ship to travel through space. It is not needed to be a commander or captain, I would like to be ordinary guy/girl tbh. And I really hope they put a step forward with companions, FO4 was great but I want more, more content please. Having a scooby gang is what I love about rpgs. This may be a bit pedantic, but whoever captains a ship is its captain, regardless of rank (like how the quarians called you Captain Shepard because Normandy was your ship). So it's safe to say we will be a "captain" if we have a ship. But that doesn't mean we have to be very important! We could be like the Serenity, just some people making our way across the verse.
And I totally agree that companions should have more content, and hopefully a lot more content between themselves, so we can form an idea about their interpersonal relationships instead of just the ones they have with the player. It would also build a great sense of being a team, a group of friends, like you said, and I love that too!
Being able to take multiple companions with us (2? baby steps) would be amazing! It would make it a lot easier to implement some of the aforementioned banter, as well.
Another note about companions: If they're all bi again (hope so), I'd love it if they would really show that instead of feeling playersexual. Acknowledging the player by their gender in a romance would be a small way to do this, but I was mainly thinking of demonstrating attraction.
I don't remember all the details in FO4 (so please correct me if I'm wrong, I'd love to be wrong), but as far as I remember Cait was the only one to show her bisexuality, flirting with Piper when you switch them. Piper's apparently very popular, and summarily rejects everyone, which is pretty funny.
I'm just gonna convince myself that Bethesda couldn't possibly be crazy enough to make a brand new sci-fi IP with only humans in it. Huh... I hadn't even thought of that. I doubt it, but anything's possible. I'd be totally on-board with "TES in SPACE" where you can choose from a variety of species to play, in theory. Even if I'd probably go with human, these games are too long to do multiple playthroughs! I'll mention that I hope there are more female companions this time around. Just an even(ish) spread. Having only 3 was a bit disappointing THIIIIIS! A lot of games I've played recently that have a companion roster of more than 4 (Pillars 1, Deadfire, Divinity Original Sin 2 as some examples) all have more male companions than female ones. This isnt something that legit bothers me, but like you said, it'd be nice to see an even spread, especially in a game that is going to feature romances. I was sad when Deadfire missed out on their stretch goal of making one of their most interesting female characters into a full companion (which would of also put the male to female ratio on even ground) and Divinity Sin 2 has four male companions and only two female. Hmm, so yeah, I'll just end my little rant and say Yes! More female companions please! Wow, I'm sorry to hear those games had such poor female representation, especially Divinity. It's a bit odd for an RPG to be honest (which is a good thing). I've said it before, but I was pretty disappointed that DA:I had only 3 female companions, and 6 male - double! Yes, if you count the advisors, it comes to 5-7 which is okay for main characters total, but companions are companions, you know? One of the best parts of Bioware games, and the people you spend the most time with, hearing banter and comments on quests, locations, etc. Didn't help that I personally wasn't fond of 2 of them, so it was basically only Cass for me For all of Mass Effect's faults, it has always done well there, even being exactly even in ME1 and ME:A (including the crew, even). As an unrelated note, ME1 also had one of each class, which was cool. Curiously, it worked out so the "specialized" classes fell to the women (Soldier, Adept, Engineer), and the hybrids fell to the guys (Infiltrator, Vanguard, Sentinel). Probably a coincidence.
Hmm, so yeah, I'll just end my little rant and say Yes! More female companions please! Yeah this definitely. The only "good thing" about this is that gay men for once had more options than straight men but that's only a side effect of straight women as target audience and the all bi route.I find it really really weird that FO4 gave straight dudes only three option for example, and it's a shame Ydwin didnt make it to be full companion (I hope we get dlc female companions!) I honestly doubt that anything was done for the benefit of straight women specifically - at least not a prioritization that significant. If I had to guess at why it turned out the way it did, I'd say they just had a bunch of ideas for male companions and not so many for female ones (which is odd, but hey), and they just made the ones they figured should be romanceable romanceable regardless of what the spread looked like to the orientations. So for Starfield, how even the options are depends on how even the genders are.
^ There is a Nick Valentine Romance mod (which is great btw), but for PC and Xbox One..Yeah, sadly Sony is being stubborn about mods (which won't help them sell copies of Bethesda games on their platform). As far as I last heard, they only allow content that's in the basegame files, so you can mess around with the colour of some outfits or something, but you can't add things as simple and innocuous as more hairstyles or a better map. It's ridiculous. Hopefully they lighten up by the time Starfield is released.
Without cutscenes Bethesda had it real easy to do romances tbh, I really hope there will be cutscenes on this game and TES6 ... At least hugs and kisses Hugs and kisses would be great! I loved that feature in DA:I, and was sad it wasn't in ME:A (along with romance-specific greetings, in Suvi's case). It's a fun thing in general, but it's also good at making a romance feel like it's a thing that's really happening as you progress through the game. Only having a few romance scenes spread out after main missions with the character talking to you as if you weren't in a relationship in between them can be jarring.
Excellent. I've learned in life you have to often do things for yourself because no one else will do them for you. It's a pretty good way to live I think. We know Red, we have to make the gay romances in games ourselves while straight guys get theirs provided to them... Yeah, "make your own content" is such a lame thing to hear. It's pretty hard to do that when almost nobody like you is in charge of content creation. Barely even in indie stuff, and we shouldn't have to settle for that anyway. I'm not going to criticize straight men kinky mods because I have done the same things with Skyrim lmao Mods are just mods. I will; it's objectification, pure and simple, and it's disgusting.

You reminded me I was going to say something about this earlier but totally forgot because I had to leave. Anyway, I agree. I think in DOS2 case, they already had their companion list and story set in stone with everything ready to go and the romance stretch goal was met afterwards. And since every companion is a romance option that is available to everyone, I dont see how straight women would be the target audience for it. One thing that DOS2 does that I super appreciate despite the disparity between male and female companion numbers, is how the romance scenes are different depending on your gender with certain companions. Meaning "it makes sense" and there's no Peebee incident. I was pleasantly surprised to see the description of my F/F romance with Sebille. I will; it's objectification, pure and simple, and it's disgusting. I get where you're coming from. Some of the mods I've seen for Skyrim female characters are downright disgusting. There's lets play vids on youtube of "the most offensive skyrim" and a lot of it is just creating a Size F boob'd nude woman that has her hands bound behind her back and a gag in her mouth while she prances through the world of Skyrim and "gets raped" by any creature or person that defeats her. And you just know that there's probably a lot of guys who installed that shit and I definitely haven't seen anything like that for male characters so far. (they might be out there) That being said, I dont mind so much the tamer mods that give both male and female absurd sexy armor or relationship mods or anything like that. Because yeah, they're mods and I don't think anyone is going to stop making them anytime soon. On topic...I love aliens11!
