I love this series: TR2, TR1, TR4, TR3, TR5, TR6, TR Anniversary, TR Underworld, TR Legend, RotTR, TR2013 from the best to the worst in my opinion  Ah and I also liked TR1-2-3-4 Gold series  Some custom levels are also amazing I even created some of them  |

It seems new TR game will be announced tomorrow and this was in the HTML code lol I hope this means this Lara becomes LARA CROFT, kinda meh, these new games killed my hype long time ago so I will be still waiting also I cant wait for the new movie I know I already said that but Alicia has grown in me  edit. ok ngl those mayan ruins give me the feels!!! |

I think you will like it better than the reboot games, but she is mostly based off the reboot Lara. Personally I love the games, and I just watched the movie, and loved it. I will say Alicia Vikander has more personality and is a little more "badass" going in than Lara from Tomb Raider 2013. Unfortunately, you will have to wait a long time for the scene that everybody is talking about...and that is all I am saying because of spoilers. |

I did like the fact that it wasn't an exact copy of the game. There were plot elements and some scenes in the movie that are similar to the game, but it isn't a rehash of the reboot. And they definitely ended it to where they can make sequels, so that will hopefully add to character growth. |

Watched the film yesterday, it was very nice! It actually is better than the actual game is based on in a couple of ways. Alicia has an excellent balance of a grounded Lara while also having that bravery and fun of Classic Lara. I really hope they give Lara more of that vibe in Shadow. The original game story was ridiculously gritty for no reason. Here it actually feels real but still in a fun adventure way, not a horror movie kind of way like the game does. My only gripe with the film is a spoiler so I won't say it, its a twist in the middle of the film that I found eehh, didn't need to go there but still overall very fun adventure, love how it ends.

I just got back from watching the film and I absolutely loved it! I have never played the reboot games (only the Core classics) so I didn't have anything to compare it to...but if the game is anywhere near as good and exciting as the film was...it definitely has my interest. I liked when the bits of classic Lara shined through and it did feel more like a "Tomb Raider" adventure than the games seem to imply...because...you know...they were actually raiding a tomb hehe.  I'd definitely love a sequel and the scene at the end for classic Lara fans was just great.  I'd definitely like to prioritize the Tomb Raider games now, but that won't happen until after Pillars Of Eternity is out and I've finished it in May. Looking forward to it though, I've missed Lara. She was a big part of my childhood and teen years. |

The story is similar to the first game, the place they are going and such, but how it all plays out is different. On the videogame things are well more videogame ish, while on the movie they grounded a few things. It also puts in some of the really great elements of the second game, rise of the tomb raider in this one to help the narrative have more shape which I thought was great. Alicia is more her own personality though, and she personally is much better than Reboot Lara's personality so it definitely helped. |

I think the movie is doing fine, it just got released and already has a box office of $166.8 million (the first one had $274.7 million) Honestly I think people exaggerate how "bad" video game films are. I loved the first two movies and I think Angelina was a great Lara! I have my issues with the SH ones tho but the first one is fine XD The first RE movie was great for me and worked as spin-off really well, the next ones are garbage. That statue is just beautiful, I'm more of an action figure kinda guy myself, I would love a Lara Croft Figma, japanese manufacturers are the best for these stuff and with the cartoon-ish classic Lara look I think Good Smile Company would do a great job but this is my dreaming  |
