Oh yeah, passionate men are quite attractive often times. Though I guess sometimes the subject at hand is rather important to me. I mean getting super excited about Donald Trump for example...would be a big erection killer. That's a very good point. I agree there. I'd rather snog an urak-hai for Seven Minutes in Heaven than even stay in a conversation featuring Trump. lmao! there's no way that would be heavenly though. hehehe! |

I've never really shipped very much, but Elijah Wood as Frodo was one of my first crushes. lol I didn't see all the Hobbit movies. I saw the first one and I kind of thought Legolas was hotter being the grumpy, kind of OP guy in that movie.

I crushed on Elijah woods as well, though I'm older so it felt like I was being creepy...I went with it though since my aunt was hot after Orlando Bloom-and that age gap was way way bigger-so it seemed okay after that.  |

I was only like 11-12 when I watched them, though, so there's that. lol |

Frodo and Sam, Bilbo and Thorin, Merry and Pippin, Legolas and Gimli...  Bagginshield zomggoggggg *lies down*  I've got fic rec if anyone's interested. Also love Merry x Pippin They are so charming and sweet; I love that Merry is sort of a sober influence on his wild cousin, but he's not averse to getting into trouble alongside him. Their separation really leads to a maturation for the both of them, which is both sad and lovely. For genuinely hardcore Tolkien fans out there, I suggest reading his official biography by Humphrey Carpenter. I really really enjoyed it. |

Also, I've totally taken advantage of living in NZ when it comes to the LOTR/Hobbit movies I've met most of the cast for the Hobbit at this point, and because one of my best friends works for Weta Digital I've even been to private crew screenings in the Park Road Post cinema |

So, uh, let's get this out of the way. Thoughts on Tauriel? Ooo didn't see this earlier. I like Tauriel a lot actually. The Hobbit movies dearly needed women characters. My only issues with Tauriel were... 1. She's apparently the only female elf in all of Mirkwood. Like couldn't they hire some female extras to work as elven guards and soldiers? Stupid. 2. Her whole reason she leaves Mirkwood is on account of a man. That she just met. Ugh, blow me, Jackson. 3. She's supposedly young and of a "less superior" elven race, yet she's the captain of the guard. Sounds interesting, actually, but please explain this? |
