Same, I just want all the chaos a backwater planet provides A backwater planet quickly being overtaken by corporations too That is perfection for me. It's like playing a game set in America!

Nice, not being an open world is pretty awesome. I'm super over open world. Never really saw it as something I liked though, it was just something I dealt with in games I really like.

Looking like I'll get my rpg fix this year. Yes, because Cyberpunk 2077 doesn't seem to be anywhere on the horizon. Last I heard they weren't anything like prepared to launch, possibly not even this year.

Hmmm, sucks that it sounds like any sequels won't be coming to Sony. Though I suppose if Nintendo and Xbox stay getting along something might work out on that level. eh..

Well guess I won't be buying this after all. Incredibly disappointing. I'm not waiting a year to get it on Steam and I'm not touching those other two platforms with a ten foot pole.

So can someone explain all the uproar over this? I know nothing about pc gaming. Its basically like games on PC are now being exclusive to game launchers. While I like that Epic games store gives more profit to the devs and gives some competition, its apparently rought with security issues, which I just experienced first hand while trying to reset my password. Upon logging back in, my Personal info was changed to someone from Thailand (good thing Id yet to make any purchases) Also the main uproar started back right before Metro Exodus came out. Metro was able to be pre-ordered on Steam for like almost a year, until a very last minute thing happened a couple weeks before the game launched where they said Metro would only be playable through Epic games. (they still honored the pre-orders though) Something similar happened recently with the Phoenix Point game where during its kickstarter, they said itd be available through Steam/GoG/etc, but now that's not the case at launch. Some of these games are having a 12 month delay for the other launchers, so if you dont want to play it through Epic, youll basically be waiting an additional year for the game. I think it mainly comes down to people not wanting to have to open 4 or 5 different launchers just to play different games Which I feel cuz I like having everything in my steam library but *shrug*
