Obsidian is definitely proving they’re an awesome company still trying to make rpg’s true to the roots of RPGs but bringing in perspectives that were not in older video games or if they were they were hidden in vagueness.
No problem supporting the Outer Worlds even if there is no romance for the player. The themes of Corporate space colonialism dystopia are pretty well done too.
Not sure if there are many more lgbtq characters, we seem to have found one and your protag seems to be able to define their own sexuality a bit, which is good. Will have to keep my eye out for more reporting on lgbtq content, because in a game this size, only having the two characters plus pc is a little low. Hopefully there are more.

I have a little crush on the good vicar. Him shouting "I can't fucking read French!" was definitely one of my highlights

Can you give me more info about this. Maybe I will consider to get along with epic store.

Haven't seen anything about being able to say you're gay.

I’ve been busy trying to get all the work done I need to before the holiday rush starts, but yeah you seem to get at least one chance to define one aspect of your sexuality through dialogue (whether you are ace or not). I tried looking for more but either no one cares to mention such moments in reviews or there aren’t many. I’m mixed on whether I personally would buy this game full priced. I hear the story is good, I hear the combat is boring, and I hear the rpg stuff is more about gameplay choices as opposed to building your protag’s character/identity. At at this moment I am not rushing to pick it up and am trying to catch up on some television instead of gaming. I’m so behind in everything I am even behind in my leisure activities.

Just started playing this. So far...it's okay. I think I'd be really loving it if the controls weren't so gosh-awful. There's so many functions that they set up between press button or hold button...and it just doesn't please me at all. Like you press the options button and it brings up the save/settings menu-but if you hold it down you get journal. But you have to release it before you get the journal-I don't know it just feels wrong is all I can say.
There are options to change a few things around, but no matter the setting you pick it's horrible. I mean they very clearly stole most of the game ideas from their previous fallout game...which had a very good button set up!!!-so WTF happened here?

I got used to the controls eventually, and completed the game. I got a fairly good ending. I did flub up a few things I might have choosen otherwise if I had been following the wiki a bit more-but that's okay.
Overall I liked the game. I do wish there were shorter and fewer load times, and it'd have been nice to have more quest variety. The combat was very icky. I especially felt like the TTD system is no vats system, and in fact I felt it was quite annoying and useless till I invested far too many perks into it to make it useful.
The writing was quite average to bad depending on the quest-and it made ME:A look like high quality writting honestly (minus Jill). I was never interested in the lore-and what little was forced on me was more than enough. It took all of 5 minutes to realize that the tease of terrible corporations being bad-in the trailers and such-was the only real theme to be found. The reveal at the end has been done (better) by many before it-and it was just there. That's the game in general-just there-existing.
7/10 unless I'm raging over the horrible load times on ps4...then 6/10

The game's DLC is finally announced. The first part looks interesting. Reminds me a bit of my favorite dlc from FNV with all the sciency stuff...though I have no idea if it'll be nearly that clever. (talking about Old World Blues F.Y.I.)

(talking about Old World Blues F.Y.I.) Ah, good. I’d held off from continuing there in the name of not needing to start a new game just for the DLC. Glad that’s actually paying off.
