I'm love this game if corporations are playing a big role like I think they are.

The Outer World is out in 3 days, the reviews are already coming out. Sounds like it's a short (for rpgs) game, but not overly so. Also, I haven't seen any mention of LGBT content yet sadly. Has anyone else seen anything interesting come out yet?

I haven't seen too much of this game aside from earlier footage, but it looked like something I'd enjoy if it had some LGBT content. If it doesn't then I'll know I shouldn't bother buying it anytime soon. |

wait the game is out soon? wow I totally slept on this one after knowing that there weren't going to be romances and the first person perspective but I wish Obsidian all the luck in the world, although I wouldnt expect heavy lgbtq rep sadly. Here's the list of companions that consists of 2 guys, 3 ladies, and a robot. Still researching if any of them are LGBT. Yes it's first person only, but your face shows up in some of the cut scenes I believe. Edit: Try as I might I'm getting no where with companion details beyond the superficial. I guess they are still keeping things quiet till the official release. |

Obsidian has always been pretty solid on a story level, so I have no qualms with buying this on release, really.
And with that article... I'm good with a warm blanket. Not everything needs to push boundaries. The reason Assassin's Creed Syndicate is probably my favorite in that franchise is because while it may not do anything particularly innovative, it has all the familiar tropes and tools of the franchise very refined and knows what it's doing with them.
I mean, I'm not really fond of first person, like I've said repeatedly about Cyberpunk, but... I AM a sucker for a scifi setting and Obsidian storytelling, so...

I've seen quite a few reviews and this looks like a really good RPG, few bugs, no bs microtransactions. And since the game is on XBox game pass and the first month only costs 1 Euro, I decided to try it out. This way I don't have to touch Epic, but I also don't have to wait until the Steam release. And if I really like the game, if it has the same replay value as Fallout NV, I can still buy it on Steam or GOG next year.

I heard that one of the female companions has a personal arc concerning her crush on another female character and how this companions’ anxiety or something prevents them from fulfilling that crush but you can help the companion with their confidence. That’s about all I have heard about LGBTQ characters. |

Queer content (or at least I think it is): I definitely read Parvati's nervousness over meeting the female engineer of another ship as a crush. Also it seems like they're hinting at the guy you're trying to track down for Max is some sort of ex-boyfriend. Neither situation is explicitly defined as such, so I'll update whenever I finish their personal quests. |

Tumblr’s shown me that one character (I think Parvati) is ace and it’s also possible to respond with a statement of also being ace. So I’m pretty pleased there!
